Lets list and review some here in the first post with the time.Games like Slap Happy Rythm Busters or the Choaniki Fighting game. I dont know every fighting game ever made and hope one or another guy who posts in other threads as SF IV and SSF IV related ones helps me out . Will add screns and some details to the 2 mentioned games later this day.greets and a happy weekend, gbkCho Aniki: Bakuretsu Rantouden Cho Aniki: Bakuretsu Ranto Hen is a 2D Fighting game, developed and published by NCS, which was released in Japan in 1995for SNES Cho Aniki's sole appearance on the Super Famicom, Bakuretsu Rantouden (which translates roughly to "Explosive Brawl") leaves behind its shooter roots and instead has become a one-on-one fighting game. But not your typical fighting game, no - all of the battles take place in midair. It's similar to Dragon Ball Z, but better executed than any of those video games. The control is surprisingly smooth, with a decent amount of moves for each character, especially since there are only two attack buttons and a dash button. All of the players are taken from the PC Engine Choaniki games - Idaten, Benten, and Samsom make appearances, as well as Sabu (the Elivs ship), Adam (the guy in the bathtub) and Uminin (that strange blue thing.) New characters include Botei, yet another huge muscular guy, and Mami, a female ship who has a small legion of men on board that helps her attack. Everyone has suitably bizarre attacks - Samson dances and unleashes deadly fart attacks, while Idaten turns her cute little cherubs into vicious little brutes. All of the characters can also fire out huge laser attacks, although they leave you momentarily stunned. Several other bosses from the other games also make appearances in the backgrounds. Slap Happy Rhythm Busters, aside from having this wacky title, on its core is a 2D fighting game with 3D manga-shaded characters. The end result is very good for a PSX game, and looks similar to Viewtiful Joe. But there is more. The word "rhythm" in the title has to have a meaning, right? And it does have. At the heat of a fight, if your Special Bar is completely full, you can perform a Beat Combo. It is basically like if Beatmania for some crazy reason, were implemented in a fighting game. By performing a Beat Combo, you will have to rhythmically press in turn one of the four frontal buttons of the directional pad, according to the beat. The music of this game is..well listen to it Waku Waku 7 is a 2D Fighting game, developed by SunSoft and published by SNK, which was released in 1996. Gameplay Videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STNIqql0wf0Waku Waku 7 is an interesting 2-D fighting game created by Sunsoft that uses the Neo Geo engine. It is a very solid title that has a unique approach to the genre. Basically, it never takes itself too seriously, and everything in this game is full of humour. And this is exactly its most redeeming quality that makes it stand out from the standard beat-em-ups.
I've always considered Guilty Gear to be one of the weirdest fighting games I ever played. Lots of fun, but could never shake off the craziness and humor of the game.

There's nothing weird about those games. They're battle systems are unique, yes, but that doesn't make them weird.

by far Power Instinct seriesIn Power Instinct 2 and Power Instinct Legends you can play as a kid named Kintaro Kokuin wearing just a towel (or sth like this) and yes you CAN see his dingdong ingame... wtf i dunno what they think of this in Japan but i'm guessing pedobear should be the boss of this gamefor details see:http://www.i-mockery.com/minimocks/sexual-games/29.phpthere are also some more "colorful" chars like this guy / thing:
Pocket Fighter (aka Super Gem Fighter) has some pretty crazy stuff. Like Sakura's super where she summons a bunch of musclebound guys in speedos to carry the opponent offscreen and do who knows what to them.
It looks like no one here heard about Makeruna Makendo 2 for SNES / PSX.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4I_TL__F85Q (SNES)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYCvfSuXs8Y (PSX)I love this game

xxxXx said, March 19, 2010, 12:23:45 amby far Power Instinct seriesI gotta admit, they had some fun with established fighting game conventions by making the main character an old lady instead of a guy in his 20s, not to mention the rest of the outlandish stuff they include in the series.

Weird is what you wouldn't define as normal, which is what one makes of normal. In truth, there's no such thing as normal, as what could be considered as weird to some could be considered normal to others. We all have our own standards and definitions of normality, and we must learn to accept the differences of others, no matter how long it takes....Sorry, I felt like typing something that would break the flow.
