Holy crap you're good.

You ever think about working on a full character?

Haha thank you!

And yeah, I've been thinking about dabbling in Mugen for a while now, but I'm very bad at Fighting Games myself (though I love to watch them) so I doubt I could balance a character.

I previously worked as the Lead Artist for a fangame called Super Smash Flash 2 though, and I finished half the cast of playable characters in that game. I've since retired from the SSF2 Dev Team to focus on doing commission artwork and the like.

Well, some one else could code or balance the character for you, as long as your sprites are good a coder will probably do it for you.

You should be able to find quite a bit of commission sprite work here for making new animations for current sprites/characters. This way you don't have to fall victim to doing 200+ sprites for a full character till you got a good grip on what you'd think the cost of such a thing would be.

And even then those kinds of commissions are rare here as most are't willing to shell out that kind of cash.

Great work BTW

Thank you!

I think for the time being I'll mostly focus on trying to pick up new spritint techniques during my time here. I'm not very familair with regular fighting game sprite styles as most of my commissions so far have focussed on my own style. The best I could manage is to edit excisting sprites into updated designs I think haha.

I'm really pumped about trying out some new stuff and learning from the other people of this forum though, so I hope I'll be able to make some good, new sprites soon.

Pleasure to make your acquiantance again! Do you use the same username here as on Tigsource? The name strikes me as familair but I can't quite seem to pinpoint it.

I thought your style looked familiar. Nice stuff, especially the Bowser animations!

Oh, I want a diagram. I fucking love diagrams.

Ha, good to see that my style is getting recogniseable haha

And I was thinking of expanding my OC into a Mugen character, so I may do that. At the very least I think I'll be making some animations with him in the future.

Glad to see you over here, cant wait to see what else you will be making!

Oh hey Likiji! Fun to see you here as well

Haha, glad to see people can recognise me from my time with SSF2. That's cool.

Looking good, mate. My only nitpick is that the farther leg (the darker, I'm bad at everything) is a bit skinny on the bottom. I know that JJBA loves to fuck up proportions, but maybe just make it a bit wider by 1 pixel, I guess?

It's only a nitpick ,but so far, I really like it!

I guess I'm late to the welcome party.

Your OC would be really interesting to see come to life.

Never such a thing as 'too late to the party' here, the party goes on 24/7

Thanks for the welcome, I hope I can start doing some animation drafts for Damian this weekend

Good catch, I've changed it:

Don't worry about nitpicking haha, I appreciate all forms of constructive feedback.

BOOOOKONAAAA!

You nailed the ferocity in Dio's pose right there, and the way Za Warudo is preparing to creep up on the opposing foe is amazing. Great work, man.

Also, Gyro looks a lot better now. ^_^
