Here's a re-edited Cody Travers using gfx style of from the SJVC version

well you can at least say i am the original author. I made that cody a while ago that i already finishedm I never posted an update
because he's for a full game.

i dont know who is the original author, who are you?.. thats why i included whatever info from where i think the source might be from and listed that right on top. Not trying to take credit for something that is not done by me.

the .def file that I have has has a blank info" " under author.
If you look at the spoiler, thats the readme.txt that accompanied the character... most of it is jibberish to me.

I did not know which/where the full game where this character came from, i just thought this styling was nicer than the CVS or the arcade FF gfx.

I liked the CVS play style, so i redid the char and found that the sprites required are different.  I did however created base on this gfx style additional sprites required. If you made this then when you do a comparison of sprites you will find that many are different from the original version.

 Anyway, play style wise it is closer to the CVS style than the original. If you look at the code/CNS... you will notice that the code are different and was not  taken from your character.

"2. All work is produced by the author" <== refers to the second character NOT cody.

i was just saying that you did not know who the author was and im just saying i am the author of the cody you edited.
im not being mean but its nice to see my name in the credit so people know what version you used as a base.

I only used the sprites so i guess credit must be given to Dampir. Are you Dampir or is Nexus Games the alias you used in the author section of the .def file?

yes.  with some additional changes added here and there though. Its probably a much older version... as i think i had the files sometime  back before april..

But as i mentioned earlier the files i had did have not much info to go on. So i try to give  credit to the someone....whom I have little info of. lol

i just mention  that the files i had little info... and i tried to put in whatever info of the source of the characters were from.....

obviously you need to know what you wrote in your own readme.txt......

I threw this Cody mod as a gesture to the community... its not something that i give two cents about. i though maybe people want it. i'm not even claiming i made it...... but what the the heck. it not a big deal. Would I care if you hate me?

if you're gonna whine about someone using your couple year old sprite edits (that did not even start out as yours and was said to be "open source") than geez man that's just sad

i dont really add my name in my character because when i release a character people see who released them through the one who posted it

Thanks for the support. I tired to follow a proper internet etiquette......and courtesy.......even when info to do so was incomplete...... oh well.. Thanks again, you made me feel warmer. :) tyvm.

Sorry I can't, I really did deleted all the files and that of all the pre-mod of that char from my drives,
that how much i think it and its' original version is worth.
However one day before i posted it here, i posted it in mugen archive.com, its the link listed by Cannon Musume

I am not going to delete it because I can't. If he has a problem with that, he should go talk to the admin at that site.
You can download it there, if the admin hasn't remove it due to any complain.
Or if someone had downloaded it before I deleted, maybe they can link it, I don't have it anymore...

Here'my last comment on this thread -
1.  An author who doesn't name his work complain that he is not credited since he is anonymous
    AND  who actually deserves no credit since he did not developed the sprites but wants to be
    credited for his contribution that were never used...
2.  Another author who says his work is free, opensource and doesn't want credit. 
       Changes his mind, complains that he deserve credit and the work is NOT free.
3.  I gave credit to both.  Right at the beginning and right on top of the thread on the first 2 Lines of
    opening... with any info worth mentioning.  I even made it clear that I only a re-edited it. If they had
    both read without ENVY in their hearts, they would have earned their credit.
4.  people has need to learn to read, or learn to understand what they read,  or perhaps understand what they are writing.......
5.  I am a MUGEN spriter and coder, not a English or philosophical teacher........  thanks.

You're mostly a coder, but you're also a spriter.
I wrote that to not create confusion since xdxdav asked if you and Dampir were the same person. You're not Dampir, so I worded it like that.
