Of course, I dunno what I was smoking when I was creating this (pretty much because I don't smoke anything), but still, here is the materialization of my stupid idea, based on an RTS game. Consider this my Christmas present :sugoi: Shai-Hulud!

Fine. So far, it's a screenpack for Hi-Res M.U.G.E.N. with custom stuff like main menu, character selection method and custom icons for the characters. 80 slots are available: 26 for good guys, 26 for bad and 26 for ugly plus two final bosses. Comes with 63 icons for SNK-styled characters by now as well as template to create the new ones.

Well, that's all I can say!... For now. In the nearest future, I wanna reconvert it to 'smaller' MUGEN as well as newer one, complete with endings from the original game. If you wish, I may create a 6700-slot version, sort of, so you wouldn't mess up with icons... Unless you really wanna make your M.U.G.E.N. less generic. Oh, and King of Fighters 2002 accurate-to-arcade screenpack is to come also.

Here's the video footage of it. Forgive the crappy sync.

And don't forget to leave feedback! Remember it's not the final version, after all.

it's pretty good lookin but there are a few problems, some of it's blurry - that's not a big deal though.

Select screen is sweet. But the options screen has bits of the menu cut off...

It'd be cool if you could add some animation to the please wait, Like have it flicker or fade in and out or something?

That's all based on your video though so maybe I'm wrong on some stuff ;P

Well, that's all thanks to the compression. When you view the video at its' highest quality, it's not a big problem.

Please Wait thing won't have animation just because: 1) PS version didn't had any real animation for this moment; 2) for smaller loading times.

I still may add animated Dune 2000 title to the main menu, still...

Well, until I won't get any proper ideas (apart from resizing, since I wanna keep the illusion of 320X200 screen res) on how to fix it, I'll leave it as is. And yes, this may sound as a horridly stupid excuse, but did anyone cancel the Escape button?
