For the record, the 'freakin blatant ripoffs of MK' such as Tattoo Assassins and Survival Arts I enjoyed loads more than Mortal Kombat itself

Now with that said, BloodStorm is seriously fucking horrible to the point where it's not even laughably bad

Ergheiz? Man I think he was just tryna bash anything that isn't Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. Essentially the lesser known fighters of the 90's.

Nah, he made the vid mostly over general consensus, rounding up fighters he thought were just not decent. Though technically, he should've just had the really bad ones, because I can't imagine why anyone would think Tuff E Nuff was horrid. :/
That shit was a cool SF clone at the time.

Yeah you got a point there. But I guess that's just his personal opinion. I mean I can go and make a video of shitty games. It won't be that big cause I'm a player of games that most people find bad like...Fighter Maker :gonk:

Mostly because I spent countless hours on it trying to turn it into a mix between VF and SF. Shit was interesting, to say the least.

After watching theswitcher's video, I'm not sure about Battle Blaze, Power Moves/Deadly Moves, Violence Fight, Cosmic Carnage, Tuff E Nuff, Tattoo Assassins, Double Dragon V, Street Fighter: The Movie (Arcade) nor especially Survival Arts.

Several people in Japan (like the one who created this website about what he/she considers lesser-known, but good fighting games) know more about fighting games than most people in North America and elsewhere do, especially those who are like the author of this webpage.  The games in the first link from left to right are:

FIRST ROW: Galactic Warriors, Ta•o Taido, Godzilla (SFC)

SECOND ROW: Battle K-Road, Blandia, Schmeiser Robo

THIRD ROW: Kaiser Knuckle/Global Champion, Perfect Soldiers/Superior Soldiers, Dragoon Might

FOURTH ROW: Gogetsuji Legends / Gouketsuji Gaiden: Saikyou Densetsu, Tōkidenshō Angel Eyes, DinoRex

FIFTH ROW: Burning Rival, Dark Edge, Dan-Ku-Ga

SIXTH ROW: Elan Doree - Legend of Dragoon, Asura Blade: Sword of Destiny, Big Fight: Big Trouble in the Atlantic Ocean (Although it's a beat 'em up, it has a fighting game-style VS. mode)

SEVENTH ROW: Golden Axe: The Duel, Daraku Tenshi - The Fallen Angels, Wang Jung Wang/Fight Fever

EIGHTH ROW: Double Dragon (Neo-Geo), Heaven's Gate, Karate Chakun Yaraku Shanku: The Karate Tournament

NINTH ROW: Mobile Suit Gundam: EX Revue, Avengers in Galactic Storm, Groove on Fight / Gouketsuji Ichizoku 3: Groove on Fight

TENTH ROW: Survival Arts, The Kung-Fu Master: Jackie Chan/Jackie Chan in Fists of Fire: Jackie Chan Densetsu, Rabbit

ELEVENTH ROW: Knuckle Heads, Asura Buster: Eternal Warriors, Operation Ragnagard

I hope the original Fighter's History will not appear in PART 2 of theswitcher's list of worst fighting games.  Why?  Read this, and according to Volume 134 (December 30, 1994) of GAMEST Magazine, Data East's largest complaint in court was about their 1984 arcade game Karate Champ being the earliest one that popularized the genre while causing others to imitate it, which is one of the things that caused Data East to win in court.

See also ScrewAttack's Top Ten Worst Fighting Games.  Despite that, they kindly reviewed Pit Fighter.

Survival Arts was one of the earliest (if not, the earliest) modern-fighting games to feature weapons for players to pick up.  It even has some stages with high jump-like features.  I recently played this game, and it's not so bad.  The gameplay seems okay.  The worst part about the game is the final boss, Dantel, because he is so cheap, his most annoying move is his telekinesis throw, which allows him to grab and throw you from a distance.

BloodStorm is the sequel to the earliest Mortal Kombat imitator, Time Killers.

This Top Ten Death Moves list by Gamesmaster features some from BloodStorm.
My Mugen Wish List would include protagonists, mascots and other iconic characters with everything they have brought straight from their source with little or no editing.

3 skulls as well for retarded physics. (Well its an indie so it can kind of get away with being bad)

destrega was weird but not necessarily worst of all time,
what worse are:
- bikini karate babes
- Street Fighter the movie (awfully choppy animation)
- Street Fighter III (SNES) a bootleg game of SFII where tatsumaki can't be dodged by   crouching, and played on faster speed, and P2 get broken palette
