ummmm all of em i add the file but then it dos now work i;m uesding WinMUGEN i try and add i add the file and it dos not work i gust get kufu man

probably you didn't add the character's name into the select.def file in your data folder.

You need to edit the Select.def file inside DATA folder.
There, you will add the location of the new characters.

Did you read in the select.def how to add characters ?

In your chars folder, place the various folder of your character, making sure the name of the folder is the same as the name of the def ifle of the character you want to add.

Example : you want to add Cvs_Ryu.
In the chars folder, you must have an uncompressed folder named Cvs_Ryu, and in it, many files with one named Cvs_Ryu.def

Then in the select.def in the data folder of your Mugen, add the line :
Cvs_Ryu

Save, and play !

ok igot i made a def file but he stell dot show up is ther like any per reddy packs i can down lode

You don't need to make a def file.
The def file of the character is already in each character folder.
The select.def is in the DATA FOLDER of your Mugen folder. You just edit it with notepad.

make it simpler for him.

after unzipping the characters, make sure there is no double folder.
meaning,
when you click the char's folder you can see at least "char's name".def there, and not just a folder with a char name on it.

copy the folder name of that character

go to a file named "select.def" in data folder

drag down until you find this:

;Insert your characters below.

kfm, stages/kfm.def

paste that folder name here, then type random
example:
kurololi, random
