Hi guys? I came back after nearly a year away from Mugen (for lack of time), but I am now taking up the project, creating a game based on Queen's Blade series of characters (more specifically the game Queen's Blade Spiral Chaos PSP)! To get better, Ive learned that this game (on PSP) will have a sequel! Queens GatePS. I changed the version of Mugen for the most current, Mugen 1.0. Here some SS's of current progress. Screen Combat - Currently only Leina and Tomoe are playable (but no special moves). This project is too big for one person, but do it as a hobby, I have no hurry, but if someone is available and willing to help me, it would be VERY GOOD! (add credits!)I'm currently ripping the last sprites from Tomoe and starting Cattleya. In the special moves and special events (KO, for example) I'll add images of characters, such as below, which Leina is defeated:Someone knows how to add FadeIn Fadeout elements on this image? Now I'm doing the basic moves of Tomoe:===================Queens Blade Mugen Status:===================Title: (80%)Character Select: (60%)Vs-Screen: (20%)Leina: Basics (90%), Normal Moves (100%), Special Moves (20%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (20%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Tomoe: Basics (90%), Normal Moves (40%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (5%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Cattleya: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Dora: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Elina: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Ymir: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Nyx: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Airi: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Lamica: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Melona: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Melpha: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Irma: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Claudette: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Cute: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Menace: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Nadael: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Nowa: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)Cerate: Basics (5%), Normal Moves (0%), Special Moves (0%), Super Moves (0%), Nude* Emotes (0%), Intro (0%), End (0%)*almost "nude".. .... ** there are some more characters (2 or 3 bosses and some minions)Another thing I want to do is a scheme GUARD BAR, SF Alpha 3 style. Ive already ask some people how to add more energy in a bar ingame. I was told I would have to use a scheme Helper .. if someone has a nice tutorial teaching the scheme I would greatly appreciate it! Follow the image below:INTRO SCREENSELECT SCREENVS SCREENHere some ingame video test:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=meZwp18TkWwFor now, just Leina and Tomoe are playable (just basic moves).Ps1. This is a DEMO TEST INCOMPLETE, so you'll see some incomplete moves, etc.. Open for good suggestions and and feedbacks. If someone can help me clearing the game sprites, i would be greatfull! Here one example.. Well folks, that's it for now. Soon I'll post more updates. Remembering that those who like to rip (clear) pictures and want to help me I submit pictures!See ya!
looks really good but whats so mature about this game or you put the 18+ because thats how the original game rating was.Lower the size of the select a stage font and put it under where it says versus mode.

Here some update (Version 1.1)- New character: Cattleya (basic moves only)- Lifebar and Energy bar position ajusted- Added a Guard Bar (inactive)- Some Leina's and Tomoe's sprites ajust- Stage select position ajustedHere some Ingame demo of Cattleya! (version 1.1)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hy6-4s1Qy-kSomeone knows here can I find some female announcer voice for this game?!Open for sugestions!!See ya!
Looks good so far, some attacks whiffing there , might want to increase their hitboxes,17 characters with this complexity should be feasible.Dead or alive for the psx had a female announcer, so does Blazblue.

I still need to add some special effects on attack moves.. Iced said, April 23, 2011, 09:33:22 pmDead or alive for the psx had a female announcer, so does Blazblue.Ok, ill find that!
I can help you out with image cleaning just PM me. I'm just curious about what method you are using to rip sprites from psp, coz I had no luck doing it, and taking multiple screenshots during gameplay never worked out.

I'm just curious about what method you are using to rip sprites from psp, coz I had no luck doing it, and taking multiple screenshots during gameplay never worked out.Im using a program called RemoteJoyLite and with a usb cable on PSP i can take SS and uncompressed . AVI videos. The hard part is remove the background of the sprites. If you wish what character do you like to help?
So you decided to post this here huh? Good choice man.Anyways, have you decided on putting the Strip K.O.?
Leonheart said, April 25, 2011, 07:37:21 amVery Nice! Make the defeat portrait last longer! Ok! I'll! MarkPachi said, April 25, 2011, 09:58:41 amSo you decided to post this here huh? Good choice man.Anyways, have you decided on putting the Strip K.O.?Ive post here to find more ppl to help on this project. No strip KO, yet. For now Im just ripping the basic moves.
Here some update (Version 1.12)- Cattleya new basic moves- New Character Nyx (basic moves)- Some resolution fixes- Stand play test of Nyx (not really good yet...) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrKc0ZOVfTE- New Character Select Image (with more info about the characters): This will work like a RPG element. Not really that complex. For example, for each point of status, the character will gain a small percentage of bonus. I.E: Attack = 9 then Attack = 100 + 9 (something like that). For now, its just a simple idea not to make this game more impossible to finish and not to make unballanced.CHARACTER SHEET:Name: Name of character Title: Title of Character (little info about her/him)Equipment: Bonus(+) or (-) for Status AttributesSpecial: Some special elements, for example, triple jump, haste, teleport, etc.. etc..Status: All character (except MiniBoss,SubBoss and Boss) will have 15 points (rose square) distributed by the attributes. The blue square are (+) bonus and the red squares are (-) bonus.Yes,on this game, the characters will have some differences, some are faster, others slower but stronger, and so on. The idea is that the characters have advantages and disadvantages, but nothing that will make the game unbalanced (just small differences).See ya next update with Nyx gameplay!!
about the female announcers - Dead or Alive and Fate/Unlimited Codes have an option to set any character's voice as an announcer. so these games kinda have three or more female announcers each.

I found those in youtube but its with music..
There is a sound pack at Random Select with the Dead or Alive 2 sounds by Big Eli King. It has the fight announcer, system sounds and the common.snd. I think it's open source, but you might want to check it out and ask him.http://randomselect.piiym.net/
