cant change announce rvoice

i know people ghave said you can use fighter factory to do it but I haven't been able to figure out how. the interface is so confusing and there's no guide anywhere for a version that isn't from 2008 or some shit. help me please. I'm using 1.0 if that helps.

EDIT: Well, now after messing around for several hours, I have NO announcer. I have no idea what I'm doing, all i wanted to do was change the announcer. PLEASE HELP ME.

So you should be using FF3 or FFS to open up the snd file(s).
Go through all the sounds and listen to them. Say sound 10,9 is "Fight". Before sound 10,9, add your own "Fight" and name it 10,9. Mugen should use your new sound. I'd name the original sound something like 1010,9999. Once I was happy with the new "Fight" sound I'd delete 1010,9999.
