thats only for the fortune teller stuff though (most of which are cosmetic btw)? the mostly needed stuff like all the important changes are all fine. dont be turned off by the prospect of lootboxes alone and actually look through the meat of the changes :/

The sentiment remains. They found another way for you spend FM without finding an alternate method of replenishing it. It shouldn't be praised from a consumer standpoint.

It actually reduces the replayability of the game rathwr than the other way around. Extra Battle is a mode that made sense because if you check in from time to time you have a chance to regain FM. Survival Mode serves as a way to spend FM without gaining it back after the one time bonus. If there was a way to atleast reliably grind for FM, even if it wasnt a significant amount, it would keep more people outside of the FGC to keep playing the game.

Some changes to Survival Mode is interesting especially the random CPU opponent. Now Gouki's Standing Medium Kick on block is nerfed  :( From -2 on block to -4 on block. Worst is still no nerf to Cammy  :thumbsdown:

i mean, i wasnt specifcally arguing about the fm stuff being better or worse cazaki, we're debating about different things at this point.

what i'm trying to discuss is that surival mode itself, as in, the actual mode, and its' improvements to the structure and pacing is indeed much, much better than before. cosmetic stuff aside, it sounds like it'll finally be worth actually playing since the pacing sounds much better on paper.

There goes Akuma, his range is pretty lame already, now -4 on block.

I really thought they were gonna make Evil Ryu as the 2nd V-trigger for Ryu.
This new V-trigger, is just another parry, doesn't work like the Focus Attack from SF4 at all..

Finally SFV SAGAT has become true!!

the moveset showed in the trailer seem quite standard, i think i've all the showed moves included in my sagat. Maybe in the future i'll try to release a sfv accurate version. ;) ;)

some of his moves reminds me of terry and rugal , and that fire ball /shield he does in the air is dope.

Haha G actually has a Q inspired costume.

Well, who knows... Maybe he lost his Election Session so miserably that he had to wear a mask and hide from opposition and police now... xD
BTW, like them both. But I kinda don't exactly understand, why both of them are announced and even released in the same day? This makes me wonder, what if they decided to add a 7th char in this season by surprise? (Most likely ain't happening...)

Seeing this video and the "Introduction series".. That character is definitely someone related to Q [if not him before the events of SF3].

He has the rush punches, he got even the special move version of the Deadly Combination[almost the same animations] and the kick throw attack

Not forgetting his Story Costume

I really hope they do some sort of new story mode in the near future. I absolutely LOVE that SFV is more willing to take risks with pointing the individual characters' stories to new directions (i.e. Dhalsim now spreads the word of yoga, many characters like Zangief gradually start focussing on training protegees, Cody is now the mayor of Metro City, Sagat now has a new dimmension to him etc. etc.) but I feel like the Story/Arcade series don't really give enough informatio, they just lay out new treads for the characters.

Seems like G is a secret mid-boss in Street Fighter V's Arcade Mode Path. He appears in either after the 4th stage or the 7th stage. I remember I did not get continue screen, but I did lose a few rounds and doing one or two CA finish, so I am not really sure the requirement to fight against him. If player loses to him and get continue screen, he will not appear to fight again as mid boss and player gets to fight regular opponent.

Aye! Big homie Sagat is in the building! SF5 is almost to the point where I can finally buy it now! With everything added, patched, etc. I like Sagat's new attire and really like his English VA. I should make a new snd for my Sagat with that VA. On a side note, that tiger with him in the intro was buff af!

Yes...watching it closely, their relationshio seems obvious. I've seen a facebook video where G and Q animations are shown one next to other and... Q is like the funny counterpart :D
