Something I was motivated to work on. This is essentially a remake of Alexlexus's Gouken which revamps the character and fixes all the issues the original one had. The character is coded completely from scratch. The gameplay style is similar to Vyn's SF3 Evil Ryu with some changes.

Gouken looks great. But couple of problems there exists.
-Denjin Hadoken acts strange on contact...
-Super Dive Kick is offcentered. This is movinf left kick. It says everything about this...

-And also... Could you add some more sounds in Gouken? For example, lightning ZAP! in his Shoryukens.

This is something I defenetely testing out!

Gouken looks great. But couple of problems there exists.
-Denjin Hadoken acts strange on contact...
-Super Dive Kick is offcentered. This is movinf left kick. It says everything about this...

-And also... Could you add some more sounds in Gouken? For example, lightning ZAP! in his Shoryukens.

- Can you please elaborate on Denjin? It seems to be fine on my end.
- I'll fix that.
- Sure. I'll skim over the character and see what other sounds I could add. Do you have other suggestions for where else I could/should add them?

Well, suggestions:
-ZAPs on stance with full powerbar.
-Not new sound, but fix. Dashing sound feels too late. Add new dash sound, so it could be dash and langing, or put that sound on startup of dash.
-Huakki (F, D, DF, F, k) also pretty silent. Especially when we considering fact, that Gouken's JUMPING sound is nice and loud.
-Shin Shoryuken also have no WOOSH sound when miss. Also, sould be useful to add a good separate WOOSH for sucsessful S.S., to make it sound... bigger?
And here, what I was talking about Denjin Hadoken: on contact it starts to go crazy, blinking with different scales. I don't think that's Hadoken of healthy man.

- Noted. I will say, the jump sound in Hyakkishu is like that because I wanted a different audio cue to make it easier to differentiate from a regular jump in. But yeah, I'll get to addressing your suggestions.

- Ah okay, so it's the animation. Before I was just using the hit animation from the regular Gohadoken, guess it doesn't fit then. I'll get to adding a new disappearing animation for it and fixing it.

I high-res'ed his lightning effects, yes. How I did it? I did it by resizing the sprites, using the black and white adjustment, applying blur filters, and then adjusting the lighting levels for them in Photoshop.

My deepest apologies. I was unaware you had worked on the Gouken sprites as well, Blagoy. I'll add you to the Special Thanks list post haste.

Just regular Blur. You'll have to use the filter multiple times.

So this is the Mugen Gouken. First time I'm ever using it, cool.

- Jumping MK and MP can be guarded crouching.
- Sweep needs more pushback on block and so does the sweep after Demon Flip.
- Hitbox on the Fireball is too long, back part can be moved in a bit
- Damage on his far standing normals is weaker than his close ones, should be the other way around.
- Damage on Hurricane Kick is a bit much, the Light version take the same damage as Heavy SRK.

Along with addressing the issues already pointed out...

- Updated Readme, specifically the Special Thanks section.
- Added additional sounds to various moves, and changed some existing ones.
- Adjusted damage slightly on some attacks.
- Fixed a bug with the Denjin Charge helper not despawning when it should.
- Added a charge effect helper to Gohadoken.

Nice remake. Thanks for the update.

Some feedback...

 - since you can charge the Gohadoukens (add that to the readme), why not make the fully charged versions projectiles two hits & deal more damage?
 - instead of leveling up the Denjin Hadouken with inputs, why not charge it up by holding the punch button?
 - since you have a super ko sound effect, IMO add a super ko background to it

-charge helper for Gohadouken stays onscreen for a little too long during medium and hard versions.  It should disappear at the same time as it does with light version.

i was working on revamp but saw this. half top and recoding. did the rules change on permissions? no big deal but happy to see my work living on in the new generation
