Apparently Syota Sendo appears in the Manhua KOF Zillion. Maybe it'd be a good idea to give that one a read.

The game is unrippable currently... the only way I managed to get any sprites was to record a video and then run animget on it and choose key frames and then manually clean it.

Damn, too bad!

I'm pretty sure some of these characters sprites have been released in the past.
It was on spritersacademy old board IIRC

Nope. I was part of the original spriters academy. We never got any of the sprites except some of the junko series I got.. and the Souji sprites by I think madkat?

Here's something you could use to try and get his sprites using Bizhawk.

A few things:

This probably needs more stuff, because I've never played this game before.  Send me a PM if you can't rip something (tell me what you did to get that action to play), and I'll update it.

The reset to 1st frame cheat only works for certain things, because attacks work differently in this game (when your character does certain actions, they get swapped out with a "helper" who then performs them.  That's why there's 2 mask color mods).  It's in there so you don't have to worry about hitsparks obscuring the sprites (turn it on then turn it off, or it'll stay at the 1st frame). 

The freeze action timer's to try and keep the screen from changing before you want it to.

1 Fighter Team forces both players to have a team consisting of only 1 character.

The hide "tint" cheats remove the darkening on the screen that happens when the menu pops up.  Initially, it was for hiding whatever fills the dialog boxes.

The Most Characters Unlocked cheat apparently is supposed to unlock all the characters (I copy/pasted it from gamehacking.org), but I haven't had any luck with it, so I made a cheat that lets you play as Syota.  Change the 001F value to play as the other hidden characters.  Values are:

001C - Kyoji Sendo
001E - Junko Sendo
0020 - Saisyu Kusanagi
0022 - Souji Kusanagi
0030 - Orochi Chris
0031 - Orochi Shermie
0032 - Orochi Yashiro
0033 - Orochi
0034 - Wild Iori

No problem.

BTW the values to the portrait position mods will need to be adjusted (not sure what would consistently center all of them perfectly.  Also modding the X position makes some stuff appear to the sides of the portrait).  Slipped my mind.

9mb: How are you trying to rip the sprites?  There's a couple of ways you can do it using the emulator.
I use psxfin.......It is best to export the image material.

yeah, just liek the other kofko character sprites, they ahd their A team full abck then, but they did not want ot use them for this game ; a big letdown considering they even used the A team for the psx ports (and stuff like kof96 collection).

Basically he's a Yashiro + perhaps Yama edit with fast edited elements.

Nice! there is definitly some Yama on it with Yashiro bases.

Finally how did you started ripping his sprites? seems king of hard ?
