This is Misty's idle frame. The artist will be tasked to do a running animation for her in-game dash (Tap Forward, Forward). Misty takes a quick knee before sprinting. She stops running by sliding her feet.
Her run is composed of two animations from The King Of Fighters XIV. Mui Mui's regular dash has the knee bow and sliding stop, which will serve as Misty's starting and stopping points respectively. Her actual running will be based off of Angel's run from her Real Rave DM.
Notice Misty has a Pokeball on her right hand. This only happens for her idle pose as of now. When she begins to run, she puts the Pokeball away. After she stops running to recollect herself, she picks up the Pokeball again and resumes her regular idle pose. Keep that in mind as you work on Misty's running animation.
I am fully aware of the hitboxes obstructing the view of the fighter. These screencaps were taken from a series of hitbox analyses recorded by YouTube user Overheat's Gametime. His videos were the only ones to feature animations for many of the actions that will be required for my fan game. For your convenience, I have included the original video links. For Mui Mui, jump to time mark 3:00 for the dash; for Angel, jump to time mark 11:45 for the Real Rave DM.
Style : CPS2, must match its origin sprite.
