MUGEN Infinite Character Arena Final Version Edition 1.0 & 1.1 640x480
Screen Pack has Intros, Game Over, Credits Ending, Continue Menu, Survived Score,
Screen Pack come with 182 slots, 533 slots, 1662 slots Addon Patches
Screen Pack was remodel from Mugen Open Sources sprite files that I created
Screen Pack has 640x480 resolution for Mugen 1.0 and 1.1

And this be Last Version of Mica Screen pack. Over past 4 years now. I learn a lot about Making Screen Pack.
The First version of Mica screen pack was learning phase as I was learning more about making Screen Pack
The 2nd version of Mica Screen pack was building experiences
This is the Final Version Mica Screen pack come with everything. Im now happy  and I hope everyone is happy for my 3 years experiences
and the hard work I put into this :D

No plans for a 720p version?

Edit, when adding randomselect to selectdef in the 1662 patch. The ? sprite isn't scaled properly.

there wont be no plans for 720p. this stuff took me 4 month of hard work. take even longer to redo everything also thank you so mush for looking out for the random select thats a every easy fix. you can go to the system.def and find cell.random.spr = 151,1 and
change to cell.random.spr = 151,2  that will fix the problem. I had just forgot to save it on the system.def but  the random select is there right scale of the random select  and just change to 151,2 and you be just fine

Why are you making screenpacks so good that I can't decide between this one and that Renegade screenpack!?
well Renegade screenpack is good if you have good decent pc computer aka gaming pc then I say go for Renegade screenpack and but if you don't hava decent pc but you need something easy and simple you can use my Mica screen pack for low spec pc aka stander walmart brand if you get my meaning :). just still what you like the most and keep that. when I make screen pack  for the mugen fans that don't want to deal with custom made portraits or High Graphic Custom Screen Pack and they can just add there character and mugen stage without dealing with custom stuff. but its depend how you feel about it really. but my screen pack is not HD and its low stander version with a bit good looks. but its old fashion 640x480 hires stander resolution :) because mica is meant take thing easy for everyone and  for low spec pc user :)

If you have not dl this version yet, I highly recommend to grab a copy while you can. I cannot find any errors, as of now to be corrected. Job well done, good buddy.

thank you but its goes well with any mugen characters not just KOF. because Mica screen pack Is meant for all mugen characters :) that why is called Mugen Infinte Characters arena :D

This screenpack is nice, but there are not default sparks.  :???:
those in the fightfx.sff
How can i use it with the chars with no sparks in their sff ?

New Update for the M.I.C.A Screen Pack for Mugen 1.1 and 1.0
All Add-on patch is located in one folder inside the screen pack. so everyone can get it in one download
also I updated the 235+ add-on patch everything is one place now
also I updated the FightFX all thanks to Warner :D
also I updated the sound effect for all part of screen pack work now xD
all Download is now up to date :D
Please let me know if there any other issue you may have.. everything should be in working order :D

i really like this screenpack better than the snes one mainly because the snes screenpack itself, not the lifebars it comes with, doesn't have numbers on it

like for example instead of kyo-kof98, it says kyo-kof. is it intentional or not?

i'll just copy and paste the files that have been updated then to my screenpack

anyway awesome screenpack still

i found the only problem with this screenpack in general:

if i put a different victory music, the victory screen won't show up for around 10 seconds or so

does it have something to do with the system?

should i redownload the screenpack or something?

wow I never had that problem before at all hmm.. do you think its has something to do with your mugen character that cause the problem ?....MAN DUDE i WISH THERE A DEBUG reader TO READ THE VICTORY SCREEN FUNCTION DX I am sure that never happen to me before  when I use my mugen character also have you try re downloading the screen pack and try again ? Pretty please show me a video to see how she react. but please let me know if there any changes or if still doing the same after you re-download the screen pack. I have gut feeling has something to do with a mugen character effecting the victory screen some odd reason but Im not 100% sure if that the case or not. also pretty please let me know what version of the mugen you are using and also let me know what add-on select.def and system.def you are using as well. So this way we can find these problem together :D

also I like to add something about the Category select screen add-on please dont try to use vselect because  wont work with Vselect for Category type list You have to add your mugen characters by copy and paste there names manually on the Category select.def. because Vselect only reads the Box type cells and not the Category type list menu.

all names for mugen 1.1 and 1.0 cant use spaces including mugen stages. so when you going to name a mugen stage or music.

for mugen stages you have to name them like this
my_car.def or mycar.def

same for music
mycar.mp3 or my_car.mp3

but don't use spaces when naming your stuff for mugen 1.1 or 1.0

Mica is around for very long time now I wanted to make a Beta version select screen roster for the Mica Final version edition, Mica is now a 4 years working progress for so long and its time to take the first version of Mica and fuse it with the Final version edition. Yeah Mica been a great screen pack for everyone :) and so On the next one Mica 2nd version 's select screen will be next to be fuse with the final version real soon :D

Love this screenpack as I've been using it since you released it. Although I've been using the IMT Blue that hold around 1300 slots for years, I switched to the version with 1662 slots and haven't swapped back since as it could hold more and has awesome effects. Also made another client using the 2nd version with 144 slots exclusively for PotS style characters.

By the way, on the 2nd version, the names of the characters in the 2nd to 4th slots are misaligned if you picked Simul or Turns. This issue only applies on the 2nd version with 144 slots (It's possibly on the Beta version too. Not sure and I haven't tried it yet). Did you noticed that?

Thank you for making this. I don't think I'll ever revert back to my old screenpack or switch to a different one for a very long time. :)
I will still do detail and aesthetic feedback for the rest.

Thanks for the fix. The names of the characters are now aligned. However, I encountered a new bug regarding the 2nd version only:

The boxes of the portrait screens and names are black and the "select your mugen characters text" no longer shows up. I took a look at the SFF and turns out you may have accidentally filled the areas on the select box roster board's sprite black so it covers up some of the background and the select your mugen characters text. The 434 slots one is fine as the portrait and name boxes are still transparent so it can still be seen. Even though it's minor and a relativity easy fix, thought I might report it.
I will still do detail and aesthetic feedback for the rest.

when I use "opengl"  have bugs no intro and menu - select screen  have bug  many portraits miss like these

Oldgamer has it on OpenGLScreen for some reason.

I'm pretty sure he uses that to optimize the screenpack for speed and performance sake. I've tested it in both OpenGL and Screen and Screen is faster. But you can't run 32bit stages of course. priorites

I'm pretty sure he uses that to optimize the screenpack for speed and performance sake. I've tested it in both OpenGL and Screen and Screen is faster. But you can't run 32bit stages of course. priorites


wow that first time I ever seen anyone had this issue haha. hmm...I have no clue what he has done but I am guessing he most of remove something or did not used VSelect correctly or something happen during the progress to make his characters look like that. this is first time I seen a screen pack behave this way but then again everyone pc behave differently when they use mugen 1.1 and 1.0 but its must be a OpenGL issue that for sure or maybe his pc dont support mugen 1.1 its really hard to tell what he had done to make look like that xD but then again dont blame the screen pack but I do blame the user for not using the screen pack right :P but yeah he must of tramper with something to make look like that xD hahaha... because there nothing wrong with my mica screen pack that for sure

I also notice he added zoom on some of those stages to zoom out like that so he must of tamper with the stages as well... u can see it clear as day

before you start testing and messing with my screen pack..

I notice that your are using window 7. if you want to run mugen 1.1 with a old windows 7 that mean you have to do your best to make it work and have the best latest graphic video chipset driver that support OpenGL 2.0 FOR MUGEN 1.0 AND 1.1 AND THEY MUST BE up to date.

be sure that your graphic card chip support the latest video drivers as well.
MAKE SURE YOU GOT THE MUST UP TO DATE software driver of windows 7
also be sure to Over look at your setting.

HOW EVER............ IF YOUR DESKTOP OR LAPTOP DONT SUPPORT THE LATEST Graphic Card driver for the OpenGL 2.0 and you are pretty mush cant use Mugen 1.1 RGB PNG format for Mugen stages or characters that support for the mica  type mugen version 1.1

This video demonstration is to show you how Mica final screen pack for the mugen 1.1 behave on very Old Nostalgic Window 7 starter 2009. the Screen Pack cant support RGB PNG format OpenGL 2.0 BECUASE of very old graphic card family chip sets dont support it, other render and setting will support old mugen character and mugen 1.0 mugen stages with the zoom code but a laptop with out no support without RGB PNG format OpenGL 2.0 can cause problem and crashes. but this is to show you that My Mica screen pack can run on Crap PC or Laptop

you can clearly see there nothing wrong with my screen pack and you are wrong to say that my screen pack has a bug. by the way I blame you for not over looking over the setting for your mugen also you must done something to the screen pack or some must of happen during the time you downloaded or something. but I sure you that my screen pack dont have no bugs and there nothing wrong with my screen pack in general so no bugs are involved.

only problem that I know off that your desktop or laptop dont support OpenGL 2.0 or maybe you need to mess with the render mode. like I shown you on the video demonstration

also dont manually add your character on the select.def I prefer you to use the Vselect software to add your characters to avoid any ugly mess on the select screen

i like this version of select screen better than the old, does this select screen have a larger roster like 300-400?

I can try my best to make it to be 300 to 400 but I cant promise u that it can because the way its was drawn and design
