ok, I still find the sprites horrible; I hope the game plays like a dream because I am not giving it a chance otherwise.

Beautiful color separation - CHECK
HD quality - CHECK
Excellent music - CHECK
Original gameplay design and original rules like infinite prevention and unblockable assist setup - CHECK
Original or cool character design - Eh... I guess CHECK
Good HUD thematic - CHECK (Much better than in previous versions)
Good voice acting - CHECK (Even if I hate some cliche phrases like the one in Cerebella)
Doujin or MVC style gameplay - CHECK
Cosplay palettes - CHECK
ZOMG training mode features - CHECK
FLUID animations - CHECK

Then... can someone tell me why the fuck I dont like the game? I just can't get over the style the game has. It's really sad because this has like... every single little detail no other game adds in a normal basis like configurable controls in character select screen, savestates for training mode, characters DON'T repeat phrases or cut a previous one while blocking... I wish I can get over the drawing style and actually enjoy the game D:

I also still feel like the hitsparks feel pretty weak but that's one of the minor inconveniences the game has IMO.

I personally like the art style but I think that the hit sparks and sound effects could definitely use more pizzazz.

I don't see why the art style is bad, it's just non-pixelated 2D art, pretty much what 2D fighters were supposed to be in the first place. Pixels were just the result of low computing strength.

In that case that's all in the gimmick of the game. The hats and the fact that it's an all female fighter (so far) so generally the artists want the women to look hentai-worthy enough to sell the game on sex appeal alone. The character designs are as good as it gets though for a female fighter, much more diverse than the typical female designs, and those that are cliche have a spin on them that brings them out from the rest. I think it's a very western style of 2D art that people don't appreciate anymore, and I like it. It also runs at 60 FPS so I'm certain the game will be pretty when it comes out.

For me it looks like Arcana Hearts was mixed with Darkstalkers and Guilty Gear.

I am sure this game might be fun and all..but i am also sure i will never buy and enjoy an all female fighting game.
