Can I ask you something? Specifically how is this any different than say, using CS? It's just sometimes I can't tell with certain characters. I feel as though I could achieve a similar effect with the correct usage of colors.

You say cvs sprites, so I had just assumed you were spriting ala Maxima/Kasumi. I was just curious and would think cs could save you the trouble and naturally yield better results overall to that aesthetic





CS is necessary for creating palettes, among other things, I still try to do something about sprites ... Yes, with the separation of colors it can have a fantastic result, but I think the character still needs some repairs in the Sprites to make it look as good as a CVS, small changes in face, resize (if necessary), shadows, strokes or something like that...

I was just saying that I couldn't spot any really big differences other than those listed they seem to just use lighter tones(cvs) lowering the amount of detail by using similar tones is a poor mans chamat(speaking of myself), but understood. However you decide to go about it. Can't wait to see the result. I do have a personal request.. Do not use the old version I did that you got from mugen archive. Will be very disappointed if that's all it is.

Glad to see some more characters from this team!
I already know Cruz's Shermie will be a masterpiece!
Your Yashiro will be awesome as well!!!

BTW, I really recommand to use Rei's Yashiro appearance as a graphic base. This is just my opininon.
I think it can be easier to CVS-ize it.


In your version (test sprite) I think there are too much lines in his pants and stuffs.
But again, it's my opininon of it.

Anyway, I know you do some good job, and I'm sure this will be the best Yashiro :)

Não crio nenhum char apenas os baixo e faço pequenas modificações para os mugen's que eu posso e o meu estilo favorito de char são o POTS ( Phantom of the server) e INFINITE.

Espero ver algum dia o Igniz e o Krizalid terem alguma versão pots por que no momento estão além das minhas capacidades.

If it was me I would just include Orochi Yashiro as a second char with hold start method, that transformation thing is bad, you can cheese it to punish people mid air and crap.

They have that in game, it's not custom. The version you downloaded, from MA, I might add was outdated. Trust me as much as I don't want it to be an edit of that, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Well, you can only use it at low health, it's not as useless. I originally did it with intent to extend combos. It's no different than setting up Yun's Genei Jin which can also be used in a similar fashion. Instead of a super pause it's a slowdown. That MA version has none of that, what he does is completely up to him though. Will he change it? We will just have to see. Even still, glad you though it was tight, so did I lol.
