Get Audacity, a microphone if you want to use your own voice, a cable with two ends that you can use by putting in the Microphone and Headphone slots.

To get the recording with almost no feedback or reverb, set the Microphone function to 5.5 dBs and make sure the Microphone Boost stays at 0.

And in audacity, save all sound clips you make as .wav files.

That's how I get my sounds.

Edit: Oh I almost forgot, make sure to get the Audacity beta. The one made before the new beta crashes after you record anything.
