Because of the pictures used, Kirino looks more surprised and Shana looks more shocked, compared to the others who look more determined.

There will be one more video showcasing Emi before release, which is before the end of the month. While most characters are just getting a compatibility update with Emi as well as the new super portrait animation as seen above, others like Kuroyukihime and Selvaria will be getting a more detailed update.

Because of the pictures used, Kirino looks more surprised and Shana looks more shocked, compared to the others who look more determined.

In most cases I basically just used their in-game super portraits from Fighting Climax.

A few last things before you release Emi, her sound "Hero" super doesn't seem right.

At 3:58, 2 sounds are played (which are "Beam.wav" and "Hit_Finish.wav").


*Also at 2:14, don't know if you've used Sadaos other file (he says "pantsu") for Emi's EX Assist (which is "Mou00_7100_b.wav").
It sounds a little different in the video but it's under only that one file above.


*Lastly same as the second one but for Emi's "Hero" move again (which is "Emi00_8001_s2.wav"). You could use it for "AP" version if you like.

1st one is a must have while *'s (marked) are which I haven't heard from you and other WIP videos for Emi. If they're already in yay, and not then same as last time with Alicia.

All I have to say is great job and can't wait for Emi Yusa and the other updated characters!  ;D

Thanks for the input, but I'm not too concerned if I'm missing a sound clip here or there.

Anyways, one last teaser image before her release (and hopefully video).

Man it’s been awhile, something I would want to ask. Would you consider doing another vote for the next character? Or is Zekken set in stone as your next project?

I do have plans of releasing another character, but it won’t be any time soon. I’ll be sure to post it here once I have enough to show off my next WIP.

did you keep in mind the fact that the UNIB sprites are actually scaled smaller than the DBFC sprites? she still looks smaller as a result that is why. French Bread sprited the UNIB cast at a slightly lower res in addition to using a different lightsource placement and that allowed for them to animate things a bit smoothly than how they animated the DBFC sprites. You should scale up the UNIB sprites a bit more to match the DBFC sprites for consistency

I'm aware, I just haven't adjusted the scale yet while I was compiling everything onto the template I'm using.

I wouldn't even bother scaling her up, tbh. It's so little of a difference that it doesn't warrant impacting the sprite quality, imo.

Good luck with her regardless, glad to see you converting some of the UNI cast.

Speaking about scaling. When you update your DBFC characters, can you readjust the size to make them a little smaller? I personally think they are a tad too big as your Taiga for example is taller than KFM. I don't recall her being that tall in the anime. Since Sennou-Room sets both scales to 0.3 on his DBFC characters, I think that's the best scale that your characters should be on.

Can't wait to see your take on Under Night In-Birth too. Hope the size for Orie is adjusted accordingly.
I will still do detail and aesthetic feedback for the rest.
