Well I finished with my portrait

Been doing a lot of playing around with this one. I was inspired by artist on Deviant art and decided to try to emulate their style.

Here is the finish product!



and here are my steps taken!



Learned a bit on this one! I'm sure there are things that can be tightened up on this so if you see something please point it out! Hope you enjoy this one!

Back to knocking this one out! Completed shading to 4 of the sprites!

Haha Thanks man! I want to add some FX to it so i might do that later.

So I made him a bit taller In frame 1 and 10 so he can transition a bit smoother from stance to punch. Not sure If i need to bump all of the heights up yet This might work.. Let me know what you think!

Okay Added FX and Changed his palette to match yu yu hakusho final!

This move will  be just as good if not better than the snes version!

It will be similar but different.

From now on I'm only using my pen tablet for pixel art! It has already has speed up my process a bit!

Bump Life got me for like a week but, I'm back!

I needed to do something new so i could get the vibe back so here is a Redraw From Fire emblem 3 for the snes. I like Redrawing Really small sprites and seeing what details I can add in. I should be knocking this out soon!

I like The retro Anime look that the older games had! So I wanted to take a crack at it!

Vincent Drakeler, my own OC. I'm currently drawing up a ref for him, I'll edit this post when I scan it in. EDIT:



So a couple of notes on him:
- In the case my writing/font isn't clear, or the gun looks weird, it is supposed to be a Ruger Blackhawk, so if you want refs, you can look that up, and get plenty of clear refs.

-The color scheme I have for him is this:
-Light green feathers/yellow bill (think Bean the Dynamite from the Sonic Archie comics). The spikes themselves have a dark brown tint at the end,
-Brown jacket, light grey shirt, reddish-purplish tie tie, black pants. The socks he is wearing are purplish/blue-ish with purple being more dominant.
-His hat is a dark blue color, with black colored stripes.

-You don't necessarily have to do this, but if you do some hue shifting when picking the colors I'd be very happy.

Thanks I'm glad you're liking the pose.. Well I made a timely mistake...



I thought he was wearing these kinda pants and I spent all this time just getting the pants right...

I've already redrawn them into what he wearing in the anime. I watched a episode to see if I could get a better insight on the character and that's when I realized I goofed.

 I'm currently working on them and I should hopefully be mostly done today Sorry about that  :drunk:
