So yeah, this is the Def Jam: Fight for NY screenpack. This will also be my first screenpack. It's for 1280x720 Mugen and it's 1.1 only. I can honestly say that I don't plan on converting it to 1.0 Mugen.

It holds 120 characters and uses custom ports. I included templates in the folder, as well as some ports already done. It also comes with two variations of team lifebars. One has p3 and p4 towards the top like a traditional fighting game, while one has them on the bottom to make them more accurate to Def Jam.

Hopefully y'all will enjoy it, and let me know if I messed up somewhere or if something could be improved.

*EDIT: Okay, this version fixes everything that was wrong with it. Fonts not showing up, music, turns, and stuff. I even fixed the name to say Def Jam instead of Dej Jam!

And this is a port pack that contains, well, ports. A lot of them.

Wow the menu screen looks spot on, I'd think it was the actual game if I didn't know better.

What? Hell no you can't make a custom ports thread! What's wrong with you?!

Nah just kidding. Go ahead bruh.

Well uhh, I didn't even know Mugen had game over screens. I hardly ever use arcade mode. I could add one and update the link.

It's superb. I'm not into custom ports lately but this is based on one of my all time favorite games...of all time. And it delivers. I might make an exemption for this one.

How many ports are included?

Do your best to become stronger. Become stronger, so you can do your best.

Mugen is a way for me to remain nostalgic with all of the dream matches I cooked up as a kid. It's also what I call a "Digital Action Figure Collection."

It comes with 40 that I already made, and I'm still making some.

There's no '3' next to the power bar
and no combos too.

Well it's the same problem as last time, I missed another goddamn slash!

So in fight bottom.def, put a backslash between SP and fonts, like this.

font1 = data/Dej Jam FFNY SP/fonts/defjamcombo.def

fight top is fine, so you don't have to do anything for that one.

Soo, is there going to be some sort of patch for this or would it just be easier to remove the portrait line for turns mode?

I didn't realize I forgot to do turns. Probably because I don't really play that. Anyway, I fixed it and added a version with turn pics. Or if you don't like it, you can just remove the turn portrait lines. Your choice.

No it's not your fault, I messed up in the system.def. There probably isn't any music playing on the main menu right? In the system.def file, a missed a slash under font 4 and the title.bgm. Just edit the line in the system.def to the following.

font4 = data/Dej Jam FFNY SP/fonts/defmainmenu.def (This line will be located under the system fonts section.)

title.bgm = data/Dej Jam FFNY SP/menu see.mp3 (This line will be located under the music section.)

I'll also just add the corrected screenpack to the download section soon.
