This isn't a MUGEN game, it's an OpenBOR game but it really started here on MUGEN when I made that fantasy sidescroller level.  Also, a lot of MUGEN characters were converted to make this game, it's what I've been working on for the past few years:

Protect the Kingdom of Furyondy from the evil forces of Iuz.  Undertake daring missions to rescue allies, sabotage enemy strongholds, and find the secret to defeating Iuz once and for all!

- Select Your Champion

- Explore the World of Greyhawk

- Complete Quests

- Learn New Spells

- Buy and Sell Equipment

- Solve Puzzles and Traps

- Find Treasure

       ******

13 Playable characters

Over 40 spells

Random encounters

Wager gold in the arena

Joust for prizes

Hire mercenaries

Buy lanterns and lockpicks

Find secret dungeon rooms

Recharge magic wands

Special inventory screen

  • I must continue my training...
This looks like loads of fun. Medieval games aren't usually my style but this looks cool.

Do your best to become stronger. Become stronger, so you can do your best.

Mugen is a way for me to remain nostalgic with all of the dream matches I cooked up as a kid. It's also what I call a "Digital Action Figure Collection."

Go to the ranger's glade west of Chendl, and talk to the male ranger.  Not "just talk" but "next".  You'll see "highfolk prisoners", select that and he'll give you a quest.

I assume your talking to me. Yea I got stuck after talking to this guy.

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

So I went to inn or Pub and no contact.

So i'll do what you said and talk to the Ranger in the grove on the next play in a few hours.

The game is really awesome and I like how much time you put into the interaction with the NPC's and over all production of the scenes. One on my grips is that hitting backwards and attacking does the block pose, which I think it would be better to just have it only on the block button. Now that I feel more comfortable with the attacks and feel of the game hopefully the next play will go smoother. Nice work!!

Yeah you did talk to the elf in the Pub correctly, he told you to rescue the prisoners, and talk to the rangers about it which unlocked the Ranger Glade just outside the city.  So you just need to talk to the Rangers about the prisoners, which will unlock a red marker on the map north of there.
After you finish that quest, go back to Fort Belvor and talk to the captain again.
Should get easier from there.

And thanks!
