Important: This character contains nudity and sexual expressions. You've been warned.

Many and many people asked me for another Strip Fighter IV char, and I always had her in mind for a Mugen conversion.

I unfortunately couldn't finish her before the end of the year, so this beta has only 1 Strip Combo, no sexy KO, incomplete AI and a few missing effects.

Features:

* Damage dampener

Works like Street Fighter IV series, as seen in http://wiki.shoryuken.com/Ultra_Street_Fighter_IV/Game_Systems#Damage_Scaling .

The only difference I gave to her in this regard is that the dampener stops acting at the 9th attack instead of 10th, therefore the minimum damage she can cause is 20% instead of 10%.

* Stun Attack

Read her Movelist file for more information about this feature.

* Strip Combo

It follows a formula that makes its damage dependant of how low Amanda's life is.

She receives the following bonuses to Strip Combo damage:

16.66% more damage when life <= 500
33.33% more damage when life <= 333
50.00% more damage when life <= 166
A variable but linear bonus based on her current life. If her life is 1 this bonus reaches effectively other 50%.

Therefore a Strip Combo can deal 200% its base damage, uniquely depending on her current life points.

* Juggle System

Instead of using the convoluted Street Fighter 4 juggle system I choose to follow what's seen on Street Fighter EX series, which is far easier to understand.

These are the rules:

1 - Hitting an airborne opponent gives a timing window of 14 frames where she can juggle the opponent with any move.

2 - However if an attack knocks opponent down, this window is increased to 27 frames.

3 - In this condition all other subsequent juggles will knockdown opponent as well, each one giving a new 27-frame window for more juggle.

4 - Some moves knock the opponent down while not triggering the 27-frame window, allowing a free juggle for Amanda
Examples:
  * Stun Attack Lv2
  * 5th hit of Hyper Bust Tackle

That's it for now. Make sure to make me aware of technical issues in her.

Props to RajaaBoy. I used codes from Rajaa SuperGirl, Necro and Urien as the basis for her. You can expect high-quality coding here.

Have fun with her beta and Happy New Year to everybody.

I played with her a little bit (not like that, sickos XD).  Rather interesting character to say the least.  Kind of awkward camera use for her Bust Hanging Tree, though.  Camera locks to P2 while they shake up and down.

A lot of interesting stuff going on here, so can't wait to see her finished.

I tried to to solve this by adding and a light envshake to a static camera. It looks more like Strip Fihter IV version now.

Thanks. I uploaded a new beta.

* Fixed a critical bug that happened when she and an opponent traded hits and both were sent flying. Sometimes she refused at all to get up from liedown, forcing a restart of the round.

* Tried to fixed the SuperBG Finish so that it appears even if she and the opponent trade hits. Didn't notice any bug so far.

* Fixed a bug in the Strip Combo system where she wouldn't receive a letter if the opponent fall from a Stun Attack and she performed another so that it hit right when the opponent gets up.

* Added extra visual effects to Final Spiral Driver.

Small demo video, showing a [Lv3 Stun Attack] x 5 combo:

That's it for now.

Will test the update soon, since it's about 2 in the morning for me XD

A bit off-topic: are you going to port other characters from (Super) Strip Fighter IV as well? (not requesting you to do so, just curious)

New beta.

Download:

http://www.mediafire.com/download/wrah838gaxnw1uy/amanda_z_beta_2016_01_13.rar

* New Strip Combo: Breast Typhoon ( + A+ B )

* Fixed the recovery commands to the buttons A, B, C and X instead of A. B. X and Y. still works as usual.

* Bonus damage for Strip Combos was reduced.

Instead of the previous bonus values of

16.66, 33.33, 50.00 and 50.00%

the new bonus are

12.50, 25.00, 37.50 and 37.50%, making a maximum bonus of 75% instead of 100%

* In the other hand, the base damage of Strip Combos is now increased.

* In the third hand (???), I'm gonna add later on the possibility of choosing only 1 Strip Combo, and if you decide to have both available their power will be dropped, like Ultra Street IV.

* Tweaked some visual elements to resemble more the source game.

* AI is more complete nd has a cleaner code.

* Hopefully fixed a bug where the S-T-R-I-P letters occasionally stopped appearing during the round. Normally this happened if she was hit by two attacks / projectiles at once.

* Throws now allow tech hit if opponent is at the state 52 (landing from a jump), like Street Fighter IV. My previous chars also are going to have this fix included in later revisions.

Will test the update soon, since it's about 2 in the morning for me XD

I always had a special fondeness for Bella, she would be my next choice for a Strip Iv character. But I don't believe MFG would accept a naked loli in the release board.

Would you like to have some other Strip IV char converted for Mugen? And why? (just curious).

pretty sure they would accept anything if you put the nsfw warnings around. on the other hand being a Loli that is a dodgy thing so I really do not know...

You'll fix chuchoryu ? Sounds like a plan. How about you code him from scratch instead ?

You talk like MFFA would accept publishing Bella's WIPs ::) If it's true that's actually an encouragement for her conversion.

Some things impede me of assuring that I would make a Bella, though.

1 - Honestly, it's not like I would enjoy reusing Amanda's codes for Bella. I really would like exploring a different gameplay for each char I create.

All my previous chars had different gameplays from each other. It keeps the ideas fresh and I learn much more different codes in the process. Converting a second wouldn't be as rewarding as converting a char from a different but equally interesting game.

2 - Bella is cute as a button, but the way she's animated is so... Earnest-Evans-style, even for Strip Fighter IV standards :(

3 - Bella's combos are so lame :( Amanda always had much more rewarding combos.

I mean, let's show instead of reference it. The video below shows the difference of damage between Bella (26:15) and other chars, including Amanda (18:10)

The entire video is censored, hence it's technically SFW. Don't worry about it.

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

On the other hand I find Bella so hot I could convert a rapist char just so that he could rape her.

Well, enough about Bella. For now I'll take a small break from coding Amanda (maybe 3-4 days) and hopefully take care of other hobbies. I'm completely open to suggestions and comments about Amanda, though.

Because I'm perverted (just kidding XD)

But seriously, I wanna see them converted, since they seemed like interesting parodies of characters that are actually solid and fun to play with.  Again, not asking you to make them.

You might have one or other char from there whom you enjoy in particular. I wonder who is her (or him).

New beta. And probably the final one before the release.

Download:

http://www.mediafire.com/download/667e8933gm8rk71/amanda_z_2016_01_15.rar

* Added Sexy KO. It's disabled by default, though, and can be re-enabled in her config file.

* Rewrote the juggle system from scratch in an attempt to fix small bugs that kept popping up.

* Rewrote the AI. Its codes are more simple and efficient now.

* Improved the interaction between projectiles and Stun Attack Cancels.

* Fixed a few bugs in Throw Escape codes. In addition, if one of the fighters is cornered during the process of teching her throw, the one who isn't cornered receives an increase in the pushback. Again, all my previous chars will show these new improvements as well in future releases.

* Tweaked her Strip Combos so that the can cause the Sexy KO in every compatible girl even during throws.

* Other minor fixes.

Now the only thing that's missing for a release, I believe, are the Strip Combo Selection feature and extra palettes.

And EX Moves, but I really dislike Ex moves and I don't feel actually like I would enjoy adding them.

Make Yuki and her "Ken" rival(forgot the girl's name). They are the main two chars after all, can't leave them out. I'll test Amanda out and get back with you.

Keep in mind, that due to a copypaste mistake, the commands for ground recover (5200) and air recover (5210) unfortunately aren't present in her current beta. At the moment only the AI can perform them.

Some news about her. I got stuck on her development. All I did during all ths time was fixing bugs and applying the improvements I learned from her into my other chars. But no new mechanic or extra configurations was added.

Actually I switched for a while my priority from her to draw a hentai version of '09 Strawberry Shortcake (yes, I'm serious). After I reach a satisfactory design I'll conclude Amanda and publish an update for my chars.

They are shotos. I got really bored of converting shotos :(

I was considering converting Kagekiyo from Genpei Tou Ran for my next project, but he's a shoto as well.

Edit: Kagekiyo is the opponent the player faces at 11:00.

I really have no idea about which char I could bring to Mugen after finishing Amanda.

Not gonna lie, that game looks really boring. Animates really stiff as well. Though you maybe able to liven said char up. No chance of making Yuki? How about just her? Last shoto for the rest of the year...?

I think the concepts from that game are pretty cool, especially the big purple guy. I'm all for a custom conversion, though DW is right; source is slow and boring, if not awkward

I happen to be a fan of Genpei Toumaden (Kagekiyo's source game). No, I didn't play it, but, well, many Cheetahmen and Touhou fans didn't play the source games they happen to be fans of.

I don't know why I like Kagekiyo so much. Maybe it's the soundtrack of his game. Or maybe I played too much his theme song in Taiko no Tatsujin. Whatever. I find the awkwardness of his game something charming.

Seeing all important chars from Genpei Toumaden receiving this treatment and being re-tooled to be actual fighters was a nice surprise for me. I'm aware that I might be the only target audience for a char like him. But, if you see me motivated enough to think about converting a male char, it's a big sign of how much I enjoy him.

Animates really stiff as well.
No problem. I worked with stiff chars before (Tifa from Queen's Axe) with good results.

No chance of making Yuki?
Sorry. Not before Bella. I agree that Yuki and Martha have a large ammount of charisma, but I happen to feel more sympathy for Amanda and Bella than all other fighters from Strip IV.

How about just her? Last shoto for the rest of the year...?
I converted Yuki before. She was my first char, published 7 years ago. She was terrible.

I still remember the codes I gave her. At that the time I didn't know better and learned how to code using terrible R-18 chars as a reference. Her Phoenix Arrow-styled special move was coded via PosAdd instead of Velset. Like Choiyer's girls. This is how poor her codes were.

Not to mention the colorloss in her sprites. I don't even have her in my hd anymore, and revisiting her would cause her entire previous gameplay to be ignored, which would alienate the players who happened to like her.

Long story short, I wouldn't enjoy revisiting her.

Well, I won't bother you about her anymore. I'll just think positively on the possibility. :P At any rate, a bit of feedback... All and all, she plays good. The one thing I appreciated about this game is that even though it's a porn game, it was pretty well put together. I only played the game like twice and I did try every char, but I only made it through with Yuki. So, I'm not too keen on Amanda, but she feels good. There are a few things I want to address:

-Bindings for p2 are off for when she slams p2 to the ground from her spinning piledriver special:
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

-Same for her atomic drop normal forward grab:
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty
^For this particular throw, putting the bind in correlation p2's mid.pos would probably be your best bet to look right for everyone.

-Her SPD special seems to lack priority and range. Usually grapplers like this(she is a parody of Zangief afterall) can out prioritize normals from opponents and also can grab them from a bit further than the animation implies. Doing an arcade run with her, I didn't feel this special being as useful as it should imo.

-One time I did her QCBx2 Strip Ultra and it didn't cause any dmg to p2. :-\ I'm not 100% on the specifics, but I had started it early, so they didn't get hit initially in the...boob spin... Then they jumped over me and got caught. The move went on as it should, she went up, came down and piledrived p2, though no dmg was received.

-Should her Ultra portrait face the way she's facing? When on the right side, it still comes from the left, facing right.

That's all I got.

Once I consider Amanda's template solid enough, I'll consider making Bella and Yuki. But at the moment Amanda is far from the threshold I consider good enough.

-Bindings for p2 are off for when she slams p2 to the ground from her spinning piledriver special.
Fixed.

-Same for her atomic drop normal forward grab.
Fixed.

^For this particular throw, putting the bind in correlation p2's mid.pos would probably be your best bet to look right for everyone.
Indeed. I forgot to consider this possibility. I ended up choosing values based on Strip IV data instead.

 It's fixed now.

Actually you're not the only who complained about the subpar utility of that move.

I increased the range, and the startup time is now 2 instead of 5. The AI is slightly less likely to use that move as well.

Probably her opponent had his defence value changed from 100. The previous version had a bug in the damage formula that made the move deal incorrect values against certain opponents.

I don't believe you'll have problems anymore. I didn't have since then.

-Should her Ultra portrait face the way she's facing? When on the right side, it still comes from the left, facing right.
It was true for Princess Fine, but not for Amanda. Thanks for pointing it out.

Well, the previous version had too many bugs that deserve priority. I feel like I should deliver an extra beta. It's the bare minimum I can do.
