I really will miss these Dee Bee styled ones, they're very flexible. SNK's sheen would definitely be an upgrade, though.Also, I never fully understood this character. Is he an OC or a self insert or just a Dee Bee parody?

Is he an OC or a self insert or just a Dee Bee parody?Never fear traveler, there will ether be a patch (separate defs (similar to P.o.t.s' Ryu, alternate anim/sff etc.) I'm trying to keep the coding as similar as possible but I must compromise due to animation smoothness, clns, and various issues.The SNK sprites are aesthetically nicer, I had some people ask me why not update the sprites to something slicker. One day I decided to try my best to make a stance animation (see avatar) and it came out looking pretty cool and wasn't as time consuming as I thought. Plus, 12 year old's on youtube kept confusing him as a Dee Bee Kaw head swap and who had no idea what the controls were.This character was originally a self insert back in 2007, a horrendous sprite swap with only eight "sprites" if you even want to call them that I was brand new to mugen, spriting, everything. I didn't know things worked and the character got bashed pretty good.I still have tons of issues with coding so I've kinda had to teach myself through youtube tutorials, referencing, and trail & error.Eventually I kept making various sprites, starting many different versions of the character which were never completed. Contrary to belief, at no point in time did I have ANY knowledge of Dee Bee Kaw, not until I saw a youtube video featuring his game-play. Many of the ideas I wished to use in the creation were now apart of another character (giant pepsi can, DIO's roda roller, random projectile hadouken, shun goku satsu (no hamster) and a random voice pack (from movies, games, television, music *gangsta rap*) Obviously The_None coincidentally did this. He had beaten me to the punch. So, I downloaded Dee Bee Kaw and went a few rounds against him, I was inspired to finally finish the piece of shit I tried to create a decade ago.Since Dee Bee Kaw is a head swap of XCB's Big Eli King, I thought to myself what character could I head swap but completely change the moves with. Pepito was the first thing that came to mind, I had him in my roster extremely early on and have always loved the sprite style. I messaged Quetzalcoatl_88 and got the green light. (I had a screen shot but it has been lost to time, hopefully he remembers, if not I give him full credit and respect)Eventually he took on his own form, drawing inspiration from various media and editing kfm from his basic moves and... poof out popped Rick Renalds. Fun Fact! The name Renalds came from Burt Reynolds, and Rick came from Rick James, bitch
Oh man, Silent Storm was one of the best edits I had seen in a long time, never saw a homage to him coming.I really hope the Thunderbolt special comes back, and his other intros. Loved that "brick breaking" sound when it was blocked.
The lighting bolt! will possibly make a return, maybe a special or super attack, as for the original intros, I will add them to the second round ones.Silent Storm (specifically XCB's remake STORMEX) was also the inspiration, I originally wanted to model the super/hyper attack layout similar to Silent Storm/TetsuIf I can figure the super-cancel code/sprites as well that will definitely make an appearance.Same goes for special intros against certain characters looking something like below;-A.S.P
