Vera Trappz (ORIGINAL CHARACTER)

Born From the 93's

It's been a while eh? Well, I just came back. And I'm here to show a new character I'm working on.

Vera Trappz, a woman with an inexplicable bear trap for a head. I'm finally going somewhere here this time. o3o

After I managed to finish up a previous work (which I can't show here for er... reasons...), now I'm tempted to make another character =w= So far, I applied all of the basics (Standing, moving, jumping, all of the hit and dizzy sprites) so this leaves me with her win, taunt, and the moves now. And I gotta work more on the sprites shown above.

Since I love that the characters have intros and endings, they'll be included too.

Well I'm hoping so! Since I'm also making a story of her for a character tournament in the meantime.

Super Mario Fighters 3 resurrected.

Too quirky, I love the idea. Reminds me a lot of Ms. Pac-Man in a way. I think her idle might need a little improvement, it seems kinda awkward, though.

I know nothing about how to make a "good" animation, but I think maybe her legs should bend a little? It makes her look rather stiff, with only her upper portion moving.

I use SAI + Fighter Factory (with its rotating effect thing) =w=

Oh yah and a WACOM Tablet for smooth drawin~

Wait, did you still want some ideas for attacks? I thought of a couple more, like turning into a big disconnected beartrap as a hyper, or something involving throwing her head off so the bear trap sits on the ground as a trap? Or perhaps could be a boomerang styled projectile? Maybe a EX variant of the fireball could be a (aimable?) flamethrower?

Woop need to update

I think I'll later add in something like an explosion when the heads hit (or gets hit). It'll add more strangeness to Vera! Since that's the thing I'm doing with her. >w>

Time to reveal who that guy is. It's a pimp; her boss-man. But besides the obvious, Vera acts more as the muscle in case things don't go his way.

You gotta work a bit on your walk and running animations.

Try focusing on just one leg at a time. It should have a curved like motion like a dangling rope-ish.
And then take a look at your animation, the legs are moving kinda like a pendulum.

With Bowsette posted, I can now focus on this on Vera here~ Here are her special moves! Some will be cleaned up later, but I managed to make em' all. Now I gotta take care of her hypers soon~

LOL at that charged punch and the hideous ranged face-chain grab to million-spin toss.
Now when she puts her own head the ground, why she gets another head back immediatly? Looks kinda wierd best way would be to have her NOT go back to stance until that head is destroyed. Or just Use transparency on the head and make it look like a energy based head.
