48 Character Roster

Undoubtedly this would not have been possible without the initial choice of using the Giant Battle style, which has allowed us to make many custom moves, and almost 20 unique characters between rumbles and everything. The sprites used are borne by the great Victor Martinez, Lucci85, Uchila96, Soul Fire, Diogiinhooo, Vbc and mine (Wenchu / Oonquil) of course.

Explore the One Piece world through 40 stages

Thanks to having taken the backgrounds of two online games already extinct (Anime Pirates and Pockie Pirates) I have been able to make some 38-40 stages that will be included in the game. Also some stages have been entirely drawn by me, such as the Thousand Sunny, Going Merry, or Enies Lobby Buster Call.

Score system, add ons, guard and stun bars, movelist in game super finishers, tag battle, endings AND MUCH MORE !!!

Being a complete game, it has allowed me to implement a series of elements that are not possible if they were individual characters, developed so that they could be in any other project, as is usual in the Mugen community. All these elements give a sense of organicity and completeness to the game that would not have if it were a simple collage of characters and stages.

Credits and rights
As the name of our team says, absolutely ALL THE MATERIAL OF THIS PROJECT IS OPEN SOURSE. This means that any other creator can use our material (sprites, code, backgrounds, fonts, special effects, etc.), without any restrictions as to the use. However, we do ask that you be recognized as a source if you have used our material. With a simple mention of the style "thanks to Team One Piece OS for these sprites" is more than enough for us. This is because we want the community of creators to grow, and many times the fact of not having basic material makes that entrance difficult. In addition, our material could help many experienced creators to enhance their projects. I hope you know how to use every hour we have put in to improve on that basis.

I want to especially thank Mikel8888 a faithful companion who has been with me most of this way, helping me with the cleaning of backgrounds, the dissemination of the project. To Vicktor Martinez who started many of the original character sheets, such as Perona, or Jabra. Without him many of those characters would not be possible. To Rei (from YouTube channel 2dee4ever) who has given a lot of diffusion to the project in his last year on his channel, he has helped me with the testing, and he has advised design changes very wisely. Marce Barroso, an old teammate DBZ OS, who after retiring from the creation of chars has helped me with the testing and much more. Without these people this game would not have been possible.

Without another word
You can download the game from my blog

Thanks to all who have followed the project and to all who will play it.

Thank you very much for continuing my work for so many years. Any feedback you want to give me or comment that you want to do, you can always go through my blog (spanish). I hope that you can enjoy the game now.

thank you very much for following me for appreciating all the work put in that the game is more animated than in a traditional mugen. It is not easy to make the transitions look smooth with the possibilities that the engine gives.
I hope you can enjoy the game and any feedback, I'm always here or on my blog.

Ah, some day, I can only hope.. I can achieve the same success. Making a full game is no small feat. You have to be determined as helllllllllll and you sure are my friend! I used to have a love/hate relationship with "chibi" characters, as many of them know no balance, but you have surely changed that perception for a lot of individuals. Though I imagine you must be relieved.. The fun is just beginning, this can still be so much better, I'm sure you'll continue to update as time goes along.

You literally would post here.. Update after update with little to no support. Kudos to you for seeing this through.

One thing I did want to ask, how do you feel about implementing stages from the Gigant battle games? I feel as though it'd greatly improve the aesthetic of the game.

2D forever btw! lol
OAN, I prefer these sprites over the 3DS game as well, great job on all the custom sprites.

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

Thank you very much for your words 2dee. I know that the characters with this style of sprites are not very well received in this forum. (In fact, it has very little interest for most users even if it is a complete game), but I am very happy that you and other people appreciate the gameplay beyond the sprites.

I honestly do not think I'll change the stages to a platform style, because the backgrounds I think are not ready for it ... maybe I can introduce something "Death Match" style in the Coliseum (World Heroes 2 style). Honestly I do not know how I'll continue ... maybe with an expansion of characters, or maybe it's all like that, with some update of bugs.

Publicly I want to thank you for all the support you have given me in the last year, and for the beta testing of the game.
We'll see you in some live stream :)

Up till last year, if you wouldve asked me about chibi chars, i wouldnt have been interested but this year after trying out some of them, especially yours, i definitely can say i waa wrong about them. As long as they're coded right, you no longer care about the sprites.

Awesome work Wenchu

I just mean pixel type stages as these ones are HD esc. There are also those from the gba games etc. I will experiment with this and show you. Reshade might also remedy this though.

Also, did you upload all your stuff to MA?
If not, you can not have anything unique without duckers trying to take it for their own.. Yes I censored myself.

Thank you very much for these words. I love to hear that someone has appreciated the gameplay beyond the sprites. Also, I know that the sprites do not attract attention, but when they try the characters, they see that the gameplay is more similar to a classic fighting style than to a Smash.

Thanks for giving this game a try.

Ahh, yes, for Bannaro Island, I did that: we took the sprites of the DS stage and we improved them to achieve the stage ... the problem is that to make them stay more or less well, it is a lot of work, and it is not so well as the other backgrounds.

I will promptly upload all the resources to my website in an orderly manner, so that everyone can use them, even if they can get them directly out of the game.

Yes, all the characters have a unique moveset, and you can see them pressing "start" in combat.

Thank you for following my project all this time. I'm sorry I took the boldness to write on your cannal. hehe, it was just to make sure you saw it. I would like very much to see you doing some gameplay, enjoying the game.
A greeting.

Hi all
here they have a patch that I made recently incorporating the feedback that the community has given me. Among the most outstanding things, I have lowered the speed at which the stun accumulates, now the juggles are more permissive, there is more gain of powerbar, and a significant amount of bugs and little things.

You can read the full notes and download it directly from here
https://teamonepieceos.wordpress.com/2019/07/12/parche-de-actualizacion-1-01/

The patch is applied simply by dropping the folders where the installation and replacing the files.

Can also download the complete game if you prefer.

Greetings to all.

Hello everyone. In this post I will tell you the latest changes that definitely complete what the initial launch of the game would be. I have already recorded all the combos videos of all the characters, with which I consider that each one is polished enough to enjoy an arcade or an equal versus, at least generally speaking. I have also fixed some basic issues and implemented general mechanics that several users have suggested from launch to today, such as the Instant Block, and the Change Guard (for Tag mode).

You can read the details of the update and download the patch from my blog.
https://teamonepieceos.wordpress.com/2019/10/15/parche-de-actualizacion-1-02/

If you prefer, you can also download the full game, which will come with the patch already installed.

Greetings.
