Now that it's becoming clear what this game is, it ain't an indie party without Meat BoyAnd Dust already has a robust moveset to choose from as well
Anime Shovel Knight is looking taller than I expected.I wonder how many more characters are left to be revealed. And who they'll be.Anyone else think that the gameplay shown in the recent videos look better than the older ones?Game seems faster somewhat and the animations look less funky.

It bugs me that Princess Boobulon seems to be being pushed as the main character. That's such a garishly horrible design, and they keep sticking her in front the other characters who look way better.
its a skullgirls situation, theres probably someone that spent ages designing this and they ended up making a protagonist that is way too fetishy to look decent in anyway.
Yup, and it's a shame too, an anime indie cast fighter and the first thing people see is that fetishy design for the somewhat main fighter. With that aside, I love the intro and can't wait to see what's in store for this game...hopefully DLC if the game does well...Edit: Had a funny thought of Hat Kid being in this game.
I think it's really cool to see so much Indie love, but to what cost? I feel like it's just a huge cop-out. The indie characters are stealing the show, and that means the characters themselves will be overshadowed, and lost in translation. At least what I feel after seeing this. Sort of like the game has an identity crisis, not knowing what it fully want. The art looks great tho, so I will keep an open eye for this.Think Quote and Shovel Knight are my favourite Indie captures here thus far.
Aren't all the characters "indie" already though?I thought there's around only two original characters.
There was this one smash game on steam that boasted being indie and even having Dust in the game. They stopped working on it because of in fighting, but this game feels like this but a better understanding. It had original fighters as well but people came for the indies.
Indie Game Battle. This game looks way too well put together to die the same way IGB did, I must say, even if none of the guests so far sell the game for me.
Honestly, I'm glad IGB is dead. The game looked extremely amateurish, and the creator of the game is also kind of a dick who doesn't listen to feedback whatsoever and is even willing to backstab his own men.
Yeah, the basic "I don't like this character, either do something with them or I will" that bad bosses usually do. There are a handful of stories with that team. I just made comparisons because the indie fighters are looking to be what people will buy the game for and the game might not have loyal fans for the core game. But I do like the idea for IGB....just that the head of the team is full of crap.
