Nero D. said, August 26, 2014, 03:55:19 pmjudging from the trailer, it's likely gonna be strictly fighter typeslooking forward to hitmonchan fox, hwoaronlee, hitmontop gordo, and tyrogue irvinlol theyre not going to restrict themselves to one type thats crazyaccording to the official website theyre doing a poll for character requests on twitter
The moment you'll hear one of them go DORYAAAA, you'll know.If you ever fight a Mega Blaziken named Harada_POKKEN, you'll know.
Wished I followed pokemon a bit more dilligently to be able to make sense of how awesome this sounds.Well there's machamp, gen-1 ftw.
He edited his post to sound more positive. lolKirishima said, August 26, 2014, 03:44:12 pmIs that "The Finalizer" I hear in the trailer?Hah, somebody noticed it, too! The beat sounds exactly like it, but it's different. It still sounds awesome, though.
This is a stretch, since this looks like it will be just a straight fighting game, but maybe they could have the pokemon in their stage one forms, and the more victories that pokemon has, it gains experience and enough will add a new fighter to the roster. So with Lucario we could start with Riolu then after a few victories it could evolve into Lucario. But in the select screen you basically use Lucario by selecting Riolu and press another button to select Lucario. And expanding onto that, a stage one pokemon can evolve depending on your playstyle.Example, Tyrouge can evolve into Hitmonchan if you play defensively, evolve into Hitmonlee if you play more aggressively, or evolve into Hitmontop if you play a combination of both. They probably are not going to do that, but if this game becomes a hit, they could add this to the sequel.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT This is... wow, like on my dreams come true SUPER HYPED!!Actually the Human forme egg group has plenty of pokemon too choose from that arent fighting types (though most of them are) and there are plenty of pokes with anthropoformic characteristics. OH BOY, this is gonna be fun!!If this ever comes to something like Wii U, getting a Wii U inmediately.
it might end up being like a year later lol since that was the case for TTT2 and Gundam Extreme VS going from arcade -> consoledoubly worse if it's on the same machines as T6 or TTT2 and therefore not PC-based (but it would be kinda funny cause those cabinets are basically a giant PS3)e: give me weird gimmicky stuff like cofagrigus, ledian or seperior
From Harada's twitter, the game's going to be unique, won't borrow any mechanics from Tekken, and no Tekken guests will appear. Won't be a traditional 3d fighter but rather, think Gundam, Anarchy Reigns, UNS, etc. type of game.
