most of the ugly distortion is because of the small rocks on the original sprite, i think if i remove it and maybe put on another layer could become a little  better

The floor should be longer than the bound of the stage width wise so that it fits when it moves. You shouldn't see that light red/gray background on the bottom right corner.
By the way when doing parallax the characters shouldn't slide across the floor. They should be more intact, when the characters move the floor moves with them. That's if you didn't know already.
If you really want someone's opinion on the parallax then make a .gif image of the floor parallax next time.

Looks pretty good, bro! :)

If anything, just increase the bottom value some more, so KFM foot doesn't "slide" when he's in his idle stance (you see it better when the camera zooms out).

This is possibly the best looking version of Captain Commando I ever saw in mugen. Truly well maded, congratulations :D

If this is for a future release, I'm definately rushing to get my old hard drive fixxed for my KOF Mugen. You've got mad parallaxing skills Stone!

Thanks, almost as good as you. At some point, I want you to see some of my other MVC characters as well. I'm doing the same thing as you, just different type of gameplay.

thanks mate, the parallax code is actually from Shiyo's dated2014 stage (good base for edits in my opinion), i just tweaked a bit for this particular sprite.
hope u get ur stuff back btw.

Good job mate this looks great. Cant wait till its finished one of my fave stages by far.
Tatsu adds zoom deltas to background  stuff as well I suggest taking a peek at those so the whole thing zooms in and out correctly.

That isnt true at all, keep the retro alive! Creating in general, enjoy seeing it. You said that’s from clay fighters right? I’ve never seen that character before. Must have been before 64, assuming an snes version, did that character not make the cut?

He's from the first game of ClayFighter in SNES, sadly he couldn't get in the next games (the second SNES one and the N64 one), only appearing as cameo in one stage of ClayFighter 2. He was supposed to be one fo the returning characters of the new CF game released in 2016, but it was cancelled and Interplay died few time later.

I'm not so sure about placement of things near the lifebar (unless there is a redirect for absolute pos based on lifebar pos that I don't know of)
