In advace I would like to thank the people at MugenBR Forums for making this possible and providing ways to fix winmugen

For those of you who have winmugen and you want to get rid of the crashes and auto exits this is what you do:

1. Make sure you have direct x8 or higher.

2. Erase all version dates and mugen versions from the def of your characters completely.

3. If you do not have any stage music for a stage put a semicolon, ;, before [music].

4. If you do not have character intros and endings place a semicolon, ;, before [arcade].

5. Make sure that all plugins that you have from winamp are set to high priority before using them in Winmugen
"put plugins in winamp and raise priority level to max. If using both mp3 plugins
in_mp3 and in_MP3Pro, erase the in_mp3 one because when priority is raised
like that and have both then mp3s wont work right. dont forget to change in the
mugen cfg file. when doint that to psf and qsf plugins you must keep the
universal volume on 2 and do not check force loop. Cuz if you do, winmugen
will quit on the stage with that type of music. Instead for those music plugins,
set default length to 10:00. It might just have been the universal volume that
made it quit but i havent checked into that yet. But Hi prioritize every plugin
if possible. " (shinra 538, post 1)

6. Here is shinra's mugen.cfg so please make the adjustments as you see fit:

[Options]

Difficulty = 8
Life = 100
Time = -1
GameSpeed = 0
WavVolume = 50
MidiVolume = 50

Team.1VS2Life = 300
Team.LoseOnKO = 1
