While I have my reasons to doubt that this rumor is true, I do kinda wish that NX gets Smash as a launch title, if only for finally having Ice Climbers back as playable characters.

Well, I mostly doubt that because of Nintendo in the past.Let's assume that Smash NX is a new game and is a launch title for the NX and let's assume the NX will be indeed released this year or on early 2017 like also rumored.Knowing how long it takes to make new Smash games thanks to SourceGaming, Sakurai and Namco would have hardly had time to create a whole new Smash Bros game even if they would have started to work on it right after Smash 4 got finished. I mean, all the planning, designing, coding, balancing and bug fixing can really take a large amount of time, especially if the roster will be big again like in Smash 4. So yeah, I highly doubt that a new Smash game could be finished that soon.Let's assume that Smash NX is actually the other popular rumor: Super Smash Bros 4 Complete EditionNintendo never did Complete Editions of any game before. Then again, Nintendo didn't had first party DLC until the 3DS/WiiU and Smash 4 is pretty much knowing for making things a Nintendo fan would never be able to imagine, so maybe a Smash 4 Complete Edition for NX is not that unlikely anymore?But yeah, GBK is right, only time will tell.
Game of the year Smash 4 NX edition is most likely. I don't expect anymore newcomers but exclusive stages and editional modes. Custom moves for DLC chars too as long as versions get them.
