Now everyone can understand what char it is. Thanks for making a more detailed topic. (But someone merged it)

Posting here also to say:
since it's a wip it does not have his Ultras (if you perform the input QCF or QCB then Start, only the animation plays but it does nothing; it should be a throw).
It plays pretty well, let's hope updates will be made soon. :)

What's the total weight of these two characters? Because FF says it's 226 MB and still DLing O_O!

There are a few SF4 characters out there for mugen but these are by far the best sprites ripped from SF4 that i have seen as they look clean and great in higher resolutions. Will be awesome when they are completed.

Agree. The Oni is VERY well done.

yea um no, unless this is an alpha and not a beta,


no specials or supers
his lvl1 focus is an infinite(forever crumples)
cant hold a direction+grab
cant dash cancel focus attack


pretty solid for an alpha, though i dont believe his lmh punches chain in sf4, dont know 100% since i dont play oni.

Since there are no 2D version SSFIV Oni sprites out yet, I continue to use my half-ass ripping skill to rip "sprites" from SSFIV.

At least I am trying to make a Custom SSFIV Oni as much playable as possible in MUGEN 1.0.
By the way, "Custom" means "Inaccurate"

1. "sprites" rip - all of my previous Oni rips were gone with my rage.......

If Borewood/Werewood is reading this, please tell him to use Cody as the base and NOT Gouken.

Gouken has a completely broken stun system in him that will screw up both player 1 and player 2 during custom states.

Okay so for some weird reason, if I choose Able, and play with him against anyone other than Oni or himself he plays fine, same for Oni (vice-versa), but if I attempt a mirror match with either one, or I play them against one another it crashes mugen ... makes no sense ... say error load .sff, any idea why that may be?

My characters are guilty of this as well, but I'm fairly sure it's because MUGEN is out of memory due to .sff files being too large.

Well damn, I'm wonder what could be an easier way around this ... possibly using the auto-sparks, or maybe even reducing the size of the sprites (not asking, I'm debating on attempting to edit them so I can use them both at the same time ...)
