I can dig it, but maybe you could consider giving the gun a bit of shine? To make the material stand out more from the zero suit, it kind of blends together atm.

That actually looks tight. However there are a few things wrong with it:

-One arm looks vastly detailed than the other (in this case, the viewer right has more detail than the viewer left).

- The viewer right foot looks weirdly shaped, it should be smooth and flat like the viewer left (and the original sprite).

-The viewer right leg doesn't match the viewer left in terms of shape and detail (the viewer left is round, v.right isn't, and the viewer right is missing a highlight from his CvS2 in that same leg if I recall correctly, at the bottom).

-And finally, the viewer right arm needs to be a bit more refined, I can see a few black pixels from the indexing I did.

That's all I spotted as problematic. For a first attempt, this is really, really good. Just fix those up and you should be good as gold.

Also @balmsold: Yep, the gun looks better, great work m8.

I saw it about a half hour ago... yeah it's pretty awesome they put it there, the poster (known as Velociraptor) asked me via PM on DeviantArt yesterday if I could allow him to post those sprites on the front page.

I only got to answer him today because I slept early yesterday, it was only a matter of time to see it on EH's front page and now that it happened I couldn't be more thankful

Shit

1. One foot looks much shorter than the other, and so does the leg.
2. I suggest you simplify the shading around the breasts. Whatever you tried to do in here looks weird as hell.
3. The forearm on the viewer's right looks short, and the shoulder doesn't looks connected to the arm at all.
4. Long face. Shorten it by a pixel.
5. The breasts face the viewer, even though the character is supposed to be aimed more towards the side.
