Is there a way to count animation ticks for PS2 games?

Thanks

Use the emulator's recording function (f12) to record at 60fps then use something like virtualdub to view the frames and count ticks

Hello! If your game has progressive scan support then you are gonna have no problems getting timing data.

Here's what I do:

Using the GSDX video plugin press F9 to open the video record window, specify the frame rate as 60 fps and use an appropriate video encoder (I usually leave it uncompressed). You can then load up that video file in virtualdub and look at the game frame by frame.

PCSX2 will record any single frame even if it has to slow the game down so it's very reliable.
