Sammy owned the license, then Sammy was bought by Sega IIRC.  Therefore, Sega owns GG.
Whoa seriously? They better not pull some shit by making a GG game themselves.

Why most of the fighting games has this kind of rehash or expansion (SF, GG, Tekken etc...)?

I mean, they will do the testing first before actually releasing it.  ???

Also, any confirmation as to how Hazama will play like? He somehow reminds me of Slayer, but that's just a guess/judging from the screenshots.

They do get testing, but tricks aren't found until the game has been played for years sometimes.  How can you balance or fix things you never knew about?
