Don't know if anyone cares or finds this useful. But for those who haven't heard, KoF MI came out in the US with ONLY dubbed English voices. However, using my DVD drive and PSound, both English and Japanese voices are present.

For those of you MUGEN creators who want to add a little extra spice to your MUGEN creations, this has a LOT of spoken dialog, and for those crazy people who want to maybe make an English speaking Athena or maybe a Yuri with her story and "walk-in" dialog. You just need a DVD drive and PSound, scan the "afs" files and then find the sound files you're looking for (beware there are over 1700 sound files to scroll through)

If anyone doesn't have the game and/or a DVD drive, I'll be glad to rip and send files to creators interested

Google didn't help ? The result must be quite immediate... (even faster than here)

Hmmm... I don't have the game (nor PS2 anyway), may I ask you Kyô's voice samples ? I'd like to know if he has anything new/useable...
...
I think I forgot something

Well I've just gone through all about 2,300 Sound files And the most startling shock I found was that alongside the Japanese voicesets there was a set of Andy samples. It was much lower quality, and straight from the Neo version, but it was there.

The bad news is though apparently the Japanese Win quotes and story scenes are NOT here (ONLY the Japanese battle voices). So sorry if anyone was looking forward to me sending them certain soundfiles in that regard. :-[

Migninon: "Mignon is huffy-wuffy"
Athena: "Phew! I'm going to go home, relax, have some tea, and take a nice...long...shower..mmmmmmm." (she actually says it somewhat seductively).

Anyway, here's a list of the sounds I logged in. There's a really strange guy in both afs files both alongside the English and Japanese. I'm guessing Hyena, but then I haven't heard him in Japanese. The numbers are based off PSound's scanning engine if you were to scan the files seperately.

Might rip all the files and set them up in separate archives, and toss them over to TDS: he'd probably love to have this stuff available on NewWaveMugen.

Both the voices and the soundeffects would be GREAT for MUGEN IMHO (moreso the sound effects, which are quite good). Like I had said in the first post, even though now the Japanese win poses and story scenes are out of the picture, there's still a lot of exclusive material here. Mostly with a lot of the stylish arts which are like completely new moves. Not to mention both the Japanese and English Dubs have two versions of Terry in regards to yelling his attacks, Athena has a completely new taunt, etc

You can email them to me and I will put them on my server Cain Highwind. You will get credit of course.

Or if you like I can give you the space and you can add them on there along with a website or any other usefull material you wish to share with the community.

Yes, if you look at the list they're under the bgm_u.afs file. They're the first 30 files.

When you extract them, they extract to Wav so you would need tofind a way to convert them to MP3 Afterward.

Plain old PCM, 22,050 Hz, 16 Bit, Mono RIFF WAVE format.
Still quite busy.

(Yes, I intend to deal with that stuff eventually, but kinda can't just yet, sorry. :/ )
