Hi, with twitch or other services being go-to's for streaming and with MUGEN and IKEMEN getting more and more content lately with users starting to stream more often I thought it might be useful to use this thread for MUGEN or IKEMEN-related streams! Feel free to announce whatever you're doing with the engine on stream here

For starters, as of right now Traweezie is streaming a private build of Capcom Universe (with C.Viper) and does so on occasion here:

Normally, I'd say it's good exposure, and I guess it may get some people who were on the fence of it all. But very few fighting fans don't know what Mugen is, and a Max video isn't gonna cause this huge change in opinion.

Maximilian has some very defined tastes, he wouldn't even touch KOF because it didn't have Rock Howard even if the rest of the characters have a long standing pedigree and library of games over 2 decades.

With all due respect to Borghi or Sean Altly, what would make you think he'd want to touch the "original" artisanal part of Mugen?

You gotta point. When a person firsts join Mugen or really look at it for the first time, they really don't look at it as much as an engine to make original games, but for the crossover factor. They still could have played it more than like, a few rounds. Most of it literally was just watching Squall and Cloud crash the game vs 2 other jobbers and they just switched over to shit like mvc2.

Edit: I also do recall a bunch of request (maybe not a bunch, but more often than not) for Blackheart especially during the Halloween season.

Precisely. The best way to ease people into the idea would be with something that shows why MUGEN could become relevant to their tastes, like how it could expand upon something they love.

You know what comes to mind? X-Men Second Coming. We never got a proper sequel to X-Men COTA, but there are enough materials scattered across all crossover games that could effectively make it happen.

Yeah... I just would think the games I listed would at least have SOME merit to that. Also, I'd hate to derail the topic, but I never tried Second Coming.

Estoy siempre listo para un desafío.

I have all the infinitymugen team full games and most of the time when I play them
They close out by themselves, gives me no error code or nothing just poof it's gone...
Games not that good either, cool concept but that's it.

I'm not saying the pots concept itself is shitty, he ended playing a horribly outdated and unbalanced compilation that featured shinrei's broken stuff (his stream crashed 3 fucking times because of some of the broken shit), broken edits, tmnt characters that weren't even cvs-ish at all, ohko characters and more. basically it was one of those really bad 1000 character compilations but it had a majority of BAD pots style characters that were not consistent nor did he even try out any of the non-jank stuff.

Yeah, I got the urge to just donate to him and tell him, what he plays is outdated as fuck and not that good besides the obvious stuff like DW, Jman, etc. If he had something like this it would have been much better.
Its an old screenshot, I would add like 3 chars more like Cruz's Yoko and stuff.

D-cat's TMNT's are awesome, but the ones he used in the video are outdated as fuck, well thats what you get when you download some random comp on the internet.

IIRC, he said at some moment on the stream that he would be willing to stream mugen in mondays, if he follows through, i hope he play some good stuff next time.
