So I tried to do LegatoB's sprite ripping tutorial for Variable Geo Custom at http://jeff.sandwich.net/, but it seems that the tutorial does not work for me. Even following the manual method outlined (hex editor), the colors are nowhere near accurate. Using the makepsp tool provided on the site, I tried every offset, but changes to the palette did not show up at all. I'm at a loss, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong here, unless my copy of Variable Geo Custom is to blame.
