I guess there is also some bad news as seen by the art Below Valkryie and Bruno don't have full body art works which leads me to believe they are Assist only characters like how there were some in Super Robot War OG Saga Endless Frontier Exceed. Good news Sanger and Ulala are not assist characters.

I love when they put up stuff  with characters/stuff not yet revealed.

They probably just didn't bother making official art for some of the characters like in NxC.

Pac-man didn't appear as a playable character in Namco x Capcom either.

I honestly cannot see Pac-man getting into this game as a playable character. (Though probably as an enemy, NPC, or cameo?)

Blue Numbers seem to be from cross hits, Opa-Opa and the Space harrier guy are part of Ulala's Attacks she summons other Sega characters to help her fight so i guess he is a assist but only available to Ulala.

I'm pretty sure the producers will stop by this forum to consider your suggestions.

btw wishlists that long should be in spoiler tags to prevent breaking the thread flow and readibility

Namco Bandai hasn't given an indication of total character count for its Sega and Capcom crossover strategy title Project X Zone. But today, the game's official blog provided somewhat of a hint. The game uses over 70 voice actors.

Of course, there's no guarantee that each of these voice actors performs for a playable character. It's possible that some characters will be used exclusively for events. The blog post does not clarify.

The voice actor count was shared as part of a post containing notice that the game's voice recording is almost complete. Event scenes aren't fully voiced, but all the main characters have event voices, centered in particular on the scene where they first appear. One of the appeals of the game will be enjoying certain passages between particular characters, and having these voiced is a nice bonus.

The blog mentioned two other points about the game today, these covering gameplay.

First, some clarification about how actiony the game is. During battle, you combine the various directions on the D pad with A to perform moves. This is the limit to the action play -- just press a button, and a move comes out. The super attack moves are also achieved with a single button press.

The other point concerns all those flashy cut-ins we've been seeing in the screenshots. These are shown when you perform super attacks. If you get tired of seeing them over and over again, you'll be able to skip over the cut-ins via button presses.
and we'll never get this in English

Or they'll just leave the voices intact.

I don't care, Nintendo handhelds are the easiest thing in the universe to emulate, and when that happens a translation patch is inevitable.

Well, Namco-Bandai is financing webcomic series in english at ShiftyLook.com based on several of their older titles, many of which made it to NxC (and a Valkyrie comic is incomic, even if it's not on the site yet), so I'm hoping that's a partial attempt to promote an english version of this game.

For the most part it seems the writers there have just been making shit up instead of using what little plot the games to have, the DigDug comic being the worst example since it keeps changing authors who don't know shit about the characters, but at least a recent one has been acknowleging little things like the protagonist's actual name and his ex-wife: http://shiftylook.com/comics/digdug/agent-dig-dug-space-miner/

If nothing else, I hope the complete fan translation (flawed as it is) of NxC helped convince them there's a market for this - and considering much of the known cast so far seems to come from more recent titles (it's certainly a lot more full of RPG teens than NxC...), there's seems to be an effort in there to try and promote newer games with the crossover, so there's additional motivation to release it overseas, as many of the titles made it here.

I would toatally buy a 3DS for this, it's the only exclusive title for it that interests me so far for that.

People keep hoping for Bayonetta - I say it's only worth having her there if they manage to mix these two scenes together.

We're expecting her not hoping. She was one of the characters in the chromosomes. None of the guesses have been wrong so far.

Last week, the Project X Zone official blog gave us a figure possibly hinting at the number of characters in the Sega, Namco Bandai and Capcom crossover strategy title: 90. That's the number of voice actors being recorded for the game.

Today, the blog gave another number: 45. The game has over 45 songs.

Each character has a song from their game. During battle, when you use a pair unit (this is a pairing of two characters into one battle unit), you'll get one of the character's songs at random. You'll also get songs for when you play as solo units (details about this area of battle will be shared later). The game also pulls some of its field map and event music from the source material.

The Project X Zone developers are also working on original music for the game. Some are for field maps and some are meant to go with the game's scenario sequences. The game's high tempo title song is also original. Its name is "Mysterious Project."

The next update at the Project X Zone blog will detail the gameplay systems.
