Halfway through RE4 now. I'm so pumped for Five because I think Wesker is hilarious thanks to MVC3.

Honestly a RE2make and RE3make would be really great but it has to be made under the same style as the REmake or RE0.

It just wouldn't feel right. Also it would be inconsistent if the 1st REmake had tank controls, but if say a RE2make or RE3make was to be made... it would be weird seeing RE2 and RE3 in over the shoulder camera with too much RE4-esque action.

I'm sure people at Capcom are scratching their heads right now thinking about something like this.

Oh god not REMake or 0 on 2 and 3. I do not want to play slower 30 FPS Resident Evil 3 that would like, ruin the adrenaline of the Nemesis encounters.

I will always miss that tiny pause that happens everytime you switch a camera angle in older RE games.

Especially in the first run of REmake and finding out just how frightening Crimson Heads are. The best pause was in the mirror hall and taking the corner before the door leading to the trophy room. Nearly slung the controller when one came bearing down on me. Then on I tiptoed my way through those parts.

I wager that it's gonna be more like Resident Evil 4-6 and Revelations than Resident Evil remake.

I kinda think it's more likely to be REmake style; this announcement comes fairly soon after the releases of the HD remasters of REmake and 0 (technically it's not out yet but whatever!), so they've already got that engine running on modern platforms, and they can reuse a whole bunch of assets from both (enemy models, like the dogs, crows, and various zombie models; and 0 has that brief sojourn to Birkin's lab!). And heck, they actually can probably just use all the Darkside Chronicles models, right? They should be around the same level, and all that's left would be new pre-rendered environments!

also they better get Alyson Court back for Claire >:[

I hope that doesn't mean it will run like SHIT like when you try to play RE4 or REmake at 60 FPS.

Also I'm surprised! No pachinko/can't-wait-until-it's-canceled jokes so far!

I can't wait until it's a canceled pachinko machine!

Going to stay hopeful that it does get made and isn't pushed aside due to internal problems like Silent Hills had. I would even take a nice port of RE2, heck all the original 3D RE's, on every platform available. I got the hard copies, but I'd love some Steam ones of 1, 2 and 3.

This is a misconception at the moment because Capcom asked if the fans remaking 2 in UE4 to stop and actually come by and talk with them over ideas to implement in RE2make.
