Those sprites where exclusively ExShadow's  (the spiky floor one, the same used in my "Le crepuscule de Feu" stage), how dare you to use them without permission.

actually thats a reason why i havent progress or mess with it more since was somethinn between Ex, Syn and you.

I thou on trying a Snk VS Capcom edit...You know modifing the colors (Genesis godly P.S. Skills)  and changing the FX and some stuff like that.....
Now just need to code this but was thinking what animations could add from SVC?

Maybe should try something with the Church/Catedral from SVC too since looked cool.

Honestly I think the basic sky animations + fire/a glow from the fire on the ground should suffice for animations. Base itself looks really nice. You should try replacing or editing the fire a bit though, it sticks out like a sore thumb there imo.

In fact, that "ton sur ton" effect bothers me a tad. You can't have everything with the same colors, because its looks fake. Sure, the light can TINT everything, but the light adds color, not change the object color. For example, the grass can not have the same color of the lion statues.

And the fire looks off place. because it the sun is that strong, the fire should not be that strong colored (and more translucent). If the the sun is not that strong, the fire light should tint nearby objects, like the lion statues.

You are in the right direction, just some fine tunning is needed :)

Since when were we going for realism in mugen? especially stages?
I know it's really a suggestion for the stage to look better, but personally I like it as is (mostly, i have small gripes with the current look). We'll see what happens though. it IS a WIP after all. :)

btw that fire got replaced but i guess he forgot to take it out in the preview :P

Well iam done with this edit of the Guardian Dogs Temple:




Genesis technically did all the graphics part so i had days with the indexing done already (but went lazy) :P
just need a fire animation that Genesis should send me later coz i lost the ones he already send me before -_- and maybe a small fix on the overlay.

What to work on next? no idea

before i give you the fire again, gimme the updated psd, theres a small adjustment i wanna do to the eye glow (well i can technically do it with the one i have but i wanna keep the color exact.)

if this stage has been released, where can i download it from?
Since i have this new laptop which runs HD so smoothy started indexing sprites from my old PSD and adding the sprites to the SFF to code:

Mugen:

the stage internal resolution is HD (1280x720) and gona have a secondary DEF to work fine at Normal (640x480) just like how Exshadow XIII stages.

-Whats left?
°Render the mountains and animate the water.
°Find and recolor some vegetation.
°Parallax the fucking floor.
°Resize and add the flame animations for the tourches.
°Add mainstream birds.
°Maybe add more clouds or just make the ones iam using bigger?
