Rip Gen 6/Z hype

Heres to hoping stuff like Aegislash and Mega Lucario aren't broke AF anymore.

Interestingly enough, they also announced that the digital versions of Gen 1 will be compatible with S&M through Pokemon Bank, which makes me wonder how considering how different Gen 1-2 and Gen 3-7 handle the IVs/EVs of each Pokemon

What makes me more curious if Gold/Silver/Crystal will be getting the same treatment one day.

It's a must since people can't get those second-gen Pokemon from the Game Boy Color.

Once of the concept images during the trailer showed an Ostrich Pokemon along with a 3D rendered black bird, likely it's pre-evolution.

Is it bad that the first thing that came to mind was "I hope we can ride it".

TBH, I was expecting a long Nintendo Direct. Instead, we got the SHORTEST Direct in the history of Nintendo Directs. And it was all to celebrate 20 years of Pokemon.

Pretty sure Robin's reveal in Smash 4 was shorter than this.

I dunno, I feel that the Mega Evolutions are great from what I saw.

Hope to see more news on this anyhow, I love me some new PokeMon games. :)

So I just found this out.  Recall when "Plus/Minus" details were leaked two years ago.  One tidbit was that the new region is supposedly based on South Asia, or China.  Sun and Moon now have Chinese language support.

Maybe its a coincidence, but still.

I just want Mega Raichu but I know that'll never happen Pikachu would probably get a Mega before Raichu ever would.

TBH, I was expecting a long Nintendo Direct. Instead, we got the SHORTEST Direct in the history of Nintendo Directs. And it was all to celebrate 20 years of Pokemon.

But when the direct was announced they said it was only gonna be 5 minutes.

  • For honor!
Best part of being able to transfer gen 1 Poke'mon to Sun/Moon: I can build a Metronome team again!

Worst part: I won't know their natures and modern statistical shit until they arrive so metronome better be an egg move for more people.

i'm hoping for more mega evolved pokemon
And I hope Gen 7 finally does away with Mega Evolutions.

Yeah, how dare Gamefreak do something new that makes some older Pokemon actually relevant? Those monsters!

I finally want a new classic POKéMON game, damnit!
So what would make the new games "classic" in your mind?

Soooo, what's going to happen to AZ's Floette, the Zygarde forms and Thousand Arrows/Waves moves that was in the data for XYORAS?

Guys, you forgot the true reason as to why the digital Gen1's compatibility with POKéMON Bank is so awesome.
The MissingNo glitch is kept for the digital re-release, so you can now finally export Gen1 MissingNo to Sun & Moon.
That would be the only reason for me to even consider a buy.

Maybe it's just me, but for me, Mega Evolutions was a bad way to make older POKéMON relevant again.
Seriously, even the mere premise of an in-battle evolution (which is even temporary from what I have heard) really sounds so not-POKéMON to me.
It sounds more like something that would belong to friggin Digimon.
