The preview images in the template have a few minor issues I did not fix.  I've gone through and fixed all the sprites, though.  With the ice cream sad face, his appearance will be the same in that scene as he looks in the first sprite on the template.

I just want to check - does this look like what you are looking to do?  The colors sort kind of weird in the Color Table so I think you might have just overlooked what was going on with the first few boxes

Ah I forgot about that particular gradient. I don't think I ever even found where those colors went lol

Yeah that looks good. I need more practice doing this!

@Anthem: I'm sorry again for rudely asking that I do the Jailbot 2.0 palette!

So I finally got around to that one.  For most of the episode, his arms/hands/tools/etc are all red holograms - so I decided to just go for that look!

With this custom pal selector, I don't want to shrink the icons any smaller than I have them now.

With that, all my slots are now FULL!  That's 33 pals!

So if anyone is currently working on an alternate palette... please let me know!

Otherwise, I just want to thank everyone for the creative and awesome palettes!  Feel free to send me any updates on current palettes!

Do you mind if I run with your idea, for GIR from Invader Zim, but instead use this green version?  I just thought it might be cool "to have his exterior look like his earth disguise, and have his robotic self get revealed" - or something like that :)

If you say that you prefer your original color scheme, I will stick with that!  Just let me know!

So I finally started testing a little bit with 2v2 mode.

I've been considering how I would deal with the Arcade Hyper in this mode.

If anyone has a better idea, or suggestion on how I might improve this... or thinks this is a great idea, your feedback is very welcome!

Here is the idea I came up with, and which I coded and which currently works:
  • The arcade attack will only hit one opponent (hitonce = 1)
  • There is a 40-tick window where the opponent is frozen in the air, where Jailbot can still be hit, and which would cause the opponent to escape the attack / get dropped.
  • After the 40 ticks, NotHitBy SCA is activated (Jailbot can't be hit)
  • At the same time, a full-screen unblockable CLSN1 "Crowd Control" (affecting both teams) helper is spawned that will remain on the screen until Jailbot finishes the hyper and transforms back to normal.
  • All players go into a custom state, where they will fall to the ground and stand if they are in the air, or just stand in place.  They are all SelfStated to State 0 when the hyper is finished.

Necro.  Sorry guys, nothing new to share at the moment regarding this character.

I just wanted to pop in and explain my hiatus... I just got married 2 weeks ago!  I'm closing on my first house on Friday! :) :) :)

I still have this project on my mind, but I will be tied up with painting, refinishing floors, buying furniture, and all that jazz.  This probably sets Jailbot back another month.  I truely believe I will be rolling out version 1.0 of this character this summer... or at least a high quality beta.

So I have made my Pac-man compatible sprites for your Jailbot.



These includes my other creations, such as R.O.B, Rocko, Danger Mouse, Count Duckula, Zim, Dib, Ren and Stimpy.
