.PAL file saving error.

Using Paint Shop Pro. Usually when I go to save a .PAL file for sprites, it is SUPPOSED to look like this when I open via NotePad, or text editor:

This is the case when I use the software on my Laptop computer.

However, when I use the same software on my desktop PC, I get a bunch of crap, that looks like this instead:

Although the .PAL file seems to still work. But I would still like to edit .PAL files via NotePad text editor when possible. This is why I need help to see if there is anything that my PC could have different.

the .pal format should depend on teh version of paintshop pro, so install the version you have on your laptop to yoru desktop.
alternatively you could just use gfx gale, it also supports that specific type of pal file.

I don't know if it has anything to do with whether it's on my laptop or PC. But I think maybe it has something to do with my video?

I just found an installer for my PSP7 from my file archive collection. So, I re-installed it, but I get the same glitch looking .PAL format when I save new .PAL file and open via NotePad. This seems to be happening very recently, as it didn't do this before when I saved .PAL files on desktop PC.

Maybe I should remove, and uninstall all known versions of PSP on my computer, and then do a clean PSP install? I don't know if that'll work.


EDIT: Interesting enough, I just uninstalled PSP7 from desktop PC, and then reinstalled it. This seemed to fix the issue. Opening new .PAL files saved with PSP7 now looks like the first example. :)
