Actually. In terms of deeper gameplay, CvS is better, but in terms of learning curves, then MvC is better. It all depends if you want to just pick up and play something or immerse yourself into a deeper fighting experience.

also; your sig is oversized.

both are broken anyway. cvs2 is easier to pick up if you try to go pro or better at least. you have to learn roll canceling, cc's use tons or pokes/charge characters pretty hard.
mvc is easier than mvc2 i dont play mvc1 only for fun. for mvc2 its def hard you got the assists guard blocks tiger knees better timing. way harder than cv2

in terms of fun cvs2 is fun to see the look on your friends face with dictator custom combos :sugoi:

I don't get it.

How can the CvS series defeat MvC?

CPS-2 Ryu could just launch the mega-Shinkuu Hadou-Ken from across the screen and erase Kyo's Life Points...

War Machine unleashes 75% damage with Proton Cannon to Terry.

Then there's the Air Combos...

Once again, you fail at humor (hopefully that was a serious post, though)

Proton Cannon doesn't do 75% damage, not even with strikers, you cannot combo into it by conventional means, so you're stuck using either strikers or hoping the start up will hit rushers, or use it on someone who missed a hyper.

CvS is definitely much different than MvC. But I'd rather play KOF than either of them anyways :P

That was a serious post, Madame Tempest.

Iron Man, Magneto, even Morrigan, all have Infinites.

And about War Machine: One time I played MvC EX Edition, with its one-button Supers, and got to unleash Proton Cannon on an unfortunate Wolverine; his Lifebar literally disappeared.

It could've been that Wolverine has low defense...I don't know...

you're not making a valid point, it seems like you're trying exaggerate how unbalanced MVC is.

In Marvel Vs Capcom 1 the OFFICIAL GAME, not that the lameass "EX" version (whatever that is) no one in the game has low enough defence to get drained of 75% of their health from one hyper.

Not counting Ourobouros and not counting Red Venom.

CvS. Not only are the effects more appetizing, the gameplay more-so suits the average SF/KOF player than MVC does. I.e me, even though both are unbalanced in their own ways.. which is why I don't play crossover games. I stick to games like TS and KOF.

I don't care which game is harder.. just which one suits me more. Usually, hard games that I'm not familiar with (even though they may be good games in general) I just ignore. For example, DMC3. I know it's good; I just can't be fucked.

DMC3 isn't so hard.

Anyway, question of tastes and gameplay. For me CVS wins hands down.

You mean the giant ice wolf/dog ? Well, yeah, I understand he can be a pain in the ass if it's one of your first games of this type. [/off-topic]

CvS,although i prefer SF3 & KoF.

Off-topic : Cerebrus (ice wolf/dog) is pretty easy to beat (atleast for me)

Use the swordmaster style & Air Hike + Helmet Breaker & in long range rapidly fire Ebony & Ivory.

MVC branch is more akin to the alpha series continuing, while the CVS branch is like third strike continuing but losing a lot of its animated goodness >.>
