"This is the target. I'm going to destroy it." - 2B

YoRHa No.2 Type B (or 2B) is a YoRHa battle android created to defeat and destroy the machine lifeforms that roam on Earth. She possesses numerous weapons that are mainly used for close quarters combat but she is also accompanied by a Pod support system that helps her for ranged attacks.
Most of her attacks are inspired by her moveset from the game NieR: Automata and the sprites were made by 九鬼.

Well ain't this a nice surprise!

Gonna definately test her out and probably use her. Her gameplay looks pretty solid. Great job :D

I know this is wip, but those animations look a bit to jumpy. Needs a some in between frames.
Besides that, she looks promising.

I know this is wip, but those animations look a bit to jumpy. Needs a some in between frames.

The sprites were drawn in Dungeon Fighter Online style, but yeah I agree with you on the frames.

Update (30/04/2018)
Introducing "Cancel" Attacks inspired by how players used "auto-destruct" as a way to cancel combos and continue attacking.

- One new Special Attack
- Six (+2 in-air) Cancel Attacks added
- A.I. modified
- Little changes here and there in the code.

Update (06/10/2018)

- Super Attacks can now be used at the end of combos that use the same weapon (For example, "Sword Throw" can be used at the end of a combo that uses the said sword)
- Fixed the Throw attack
- Lowered the "1000 power" super attacks' damages
- Added an effect on "Charged Spear" and "Charged Sword" to emphasize the "charging" side of the attacks
- Added a winpose that randomly plays one of two dialogs from Pod 042
- Added an intro that involves Pod 042
- Added 5 Super Attacks (Costs 2000 power each)
  • Punch Fest (B, F, B, F, a)
  • Pod Program : Spear (B, F, B, F, b)
  • Counter Contract (B, F, B, F, x)
  • Charged Spear LV2 (B, F, B, F, y)
  • Virtuous Threat (B, F, B, F, z)
- Added a Hyper Attack called "Autodestruction" based on the "Self-destruct" ability of 2B in the game (D, B, D, F, c)
  • Costs 3000 power
  • Takes 750 HP from the enemy (350 on guard)
  • Leaves 2B vulnerable with only 1 HP left
- Little changes here and there in the code

Update (30/05/2018)

- Modified timing on some basic attacks
- Added a new Cancel move : "Cancel : Half Moon"
- Higher damages for LV2 supers
- "Charged Spear LV1" has been replaced by a new super move called "Spinning Spear"
- "High Kick" has been replaced by "Aggression Shift" which pulls 2B closer to the enemy and allows her to easily start a basic combo
- "Charged Sword" is now a LV2 super (and costs 2 000 power)
- "Virtuous Throw" has been replaced by a new super move called "Aerial Leap" (which costs 1 000 power) and launch 2B in the air
- Added a new Super attack that can be launched in air : "Throwdown" (which costs 1 000 power)
- Combos were revised again, the A.I. as well
- Some effects were added or modified

The movelist is available in the readme.txt located in the file.

It is highly likely that this will be the last update I will be able to make on 2B. As much as I would like to continue updating her, I am afraid that it won't be possible because of my studies. At first, I wanted this update to include palettes but wasn't able to get through it all, therefore this version has dozens of sprites that are coordinated and hundreds that are not.

That being said, this character is completely open-source. If anyone wants to modify it, or create their own version of it, well you're free to do whatever you want, just remember to credit the right people (most importantly 九鬼 for the sprites, not me) and send me your version of the edited version, I would gladly like to see how you gave your own flair to it !
