Just wondered how it'd look like to have a Dragon Ball characters in POTS style.I mean---too bad EB characters don't have a lot of sprites.
I was fucking about with the that shit myself a while ago, I thought Ryu frame data would be a good base for Goku,But its all in the air for now. To be honest not everything needs to be POTS style, but I think Goku and Vegeta are doable. What I was brainstorming at the time, Veggie a rushdown char, high damage output mediocre health and stuff, Goku an All around balanced fighter. I got some normals done and stuff, but never got passed that. Not to mention I lack the skill to properly pull it off.
I dig what you just said, to be honest if I really am willing to make him, I won't mind to add my own style. But then again, like I said, I am repeating myself a lot lmao.Even I am willing to make him, and I do good, I won't mind doing the rest of the DBZ characters.
You said too bad eb chars don't have a lot of sprites. I assumed you think they are. Ot good enough to make into POTS style chars for that reason. HDBZ sprites should have enough sprites in the chars. They animate smoothly
Oh yeaaah! You definitely are right. But it's just that Broly is one of my favorites. That's why I picked him in the first place for a test.
Just No Point said, July 15, 2017, 01:28:31 amOkay I misread this. Didn't realize it was Broly specific! My bad!Oh, it's okay my friend.I definitely should think of a moveset.
It can be done, although, will have to do a lot of improvisation.Movelist? Staple. Body Press, Clothesline, Ki Attacks(easy as you can use any animation followed by a projectile) Fighting style wise Broly is simple. Powerhouse, but if you want that anime aesthetic he isn't as slow as the games make him.Main concern isn't the sprites, making this how you intend, will need that FX. Really just need those green meteor thingys.
