This is my very own Skullman, from Megaman 4, for Megaman: Robot Master Mayhem over at IMT. I've been working on him for about 3-4 years, and the sprites are pretty much finished, so he hopefully SHOULD be released soon. Bowasiel is programming him, while I'm spriting him, and his voice actor is Shadowken of Voice Acting Alliance. Here's some stuff that I have to show (lots of stuff ;)):

Dude, looks nice! The Gatling gun looks a little off, I think it's because there's some movement from the dark colours. It looks like the end of the gun protrudes independently, but then the silver/metallic part moves forward to join with the end.  I think it's all coming together nicely though. Best of luck man.

Thanks. ;D And, yup, that was one of the things that I have to fix with that animation, I noticed that a while after I first animated it.

Anyways, here's some palette ideas by some members at IMT.

Poison, Slash (Slashman), Sniper (Sniper Joe), and Accel (Axl). The names are just for show, nothing else, really. :P

Seriously, that separation is gold and I want to make palettes.

Super three year bump. Forgive me.  :x
I decided however to go back and rework his basics to make him more unique. Wanted to see what everyone's opinion was. (And just checked.. I've been working/reworking on Skullman since before '09.. :s )

Aerial HK - Used to be a simple buster shot


Missile-type weapon shots, based on Samus' arsenal in Metroid, used to reuse the Gatling sprites

(LK) (HK)
Standing LK, replaced the old one to be the new standing HK, which was a buster shot


Crouching HK, used to be a buster shot


Crouching HP, reuses the standing MP, but I gave him arm spikes to differentiate it more from it.


Finalized version of the transformation pose.

Skullman's stage. Added a bit more stuff into the background, and changed the positioning of the Skull Joe. Still refining some stuff.

I haven't had a coder for years, so there has been absolutely nothing new added to the extremely old version that I have that was coded years ago on an old RMM template.

Thanks. Just sent me the SFF of SkullMan please, as soon as it is finished, and exact informations about how the moves should work, and I start the coding.

Oh sweet delicious revival, this is an amazing return. I really like that you decided to make totally new basic attacks, to differentiate him more from Megaman, so now I can see this Skullman more as a character of his own rather than something like a Megaman edit. The transformed version is also pretty badass. Keep it up, dude.

Another huge revival and necro on this nearly 10 year old work to spread the news; he is now absolutely being finished by AJrenalin in terms of programming, updates have been posted up on IMT. Currently going to be collaborating with Rage for some new animations; some moves have changed up since last time, either for better flow of combos or to have less Megaman-esque animations.

SPECIALS

1.Powerblaster - Shoots cannon low, medium and upwards position. Also can shoot while in the air

2.Skullbarrier - Much different than woodmans leaf shield. Woodmans can be thrown this cannot, This causes damage to anyone in radius and has a much shorter duration. Can also block one attack or projectile without taking damage.

POWERSETS

1. Haunt - Throws out a Spirit at the cost of 10 health if hit on contact it causes damage to P2 and P1 gains 25 health. If you miss you get no health back and lose the 10 health from casting. This has low,Medium,High variations as well as air versions to.

2. Spikes - The video best describes this. Has air version as well

3. Missiles - Shoots a missile out of his chest a = slow b = normal c = Fast. Also variations of a,b,c also work while in air

4. Homing Missile - Self explanatory only one variation of this move.

5. Bone Joe - Bone joe comes down to throw some bones , A=1bone B=2Bones C=3Bones

6 Machine gun - A machine gun comes out of his chest and fires fast projectiles .. A=3bullets,B=4Bullets,C=5Bullets.

HYPERS

1. Machine gunner - His hands turn into machine guns firing projectiles in both directions (The sound glitch you hear in the video has already been fixed with the block sound, sorry for that.)

2. Laughing Skulls - Summons laughing skulls to do his bidding..

3. Hyper 3 is a mystery i wont reveal it only info i will give is it cost 3000 Power to use.

I am on my final tweaks of this character i hope everyone enjoys the video and Manic Thank you for making these sprites of this awesome character.
