Or at least display the character's names on the screen if not the portraits.

Yeah but, right now I'm trying to fix some minor things with the life-bars. I might do another style for the versus screen. Thanks for feed back! 8)

is it possible to use custom portraits from other screenpacks in this one, for example, using custom portraits from E.O.F screenpack

You could use some of the small ports but, you would have to edited them. I don't understand why you would want to. Still there are many ports already made and ready to load into your mugen if you read up a few post from yours. :P
