Help a dumb friend (palettes)

so I have this Palette on my char, I took some images from a different char, which have a totally different palette. how do I easily adapt those images to my current palette? also, how do I organize my current palette colors without having any problems with my .sff and all?

If i am not wrong... in FF3 there is no shortcut... u edit yr palette means u have to re-index ALL relative sprites...

Adapting:
If yr current palettes do not have the new image colors, u can add them to yr palette, then the Advanced Palette had this button on the left (beside the up/down blue arrows) that let u adapt the image to current selected palette. Finally another button on the left let u save current sprite changes.

what I want to do is actually adapt the new image to my current palette, so the new image has the same colors as my palette, not add new colors to my current palette.

If you just want to adapt it to a different pal

all you have to do is recolor the picture with the colors in the pal that you want, that's what I do.

you do that before adding them to the .sff, right?
or you color them in FF3?
