I wonder if it will be as good as a clone as the Jump Star series
seems interesting :D

somehow i fear it will be messed up a lot and be quite shallow compared with smash bros.

beside that, its a cool news and i hope it will be a good title.

So let me get this straight, Sony wants to copy nintendo because of a popular fighting game which sounds like they think will sell them millions instead of people waiting for the new SSB on WiiU?

Makes sense to me. Although i hope Microsoft doesn't do that or else the smash bros. fighting style won't feel as "unique".

also i don't give a flying shit about most of sony's original characters and believe they should just focus on getting more recognizable third party characters or look into licensing movie and music properties

Part of me wants to get hype off of this since I love crossover stuff so much, but I'm going to hold off on making an opinion until there's more to go on.  This could either be really awesome or really awful.

Also:  inb4 Microsoft announces Smash Bros clone starring Master Chief, Blinx the Time Cat, and nobody else.

i don't expect them to get this one right. every smash bros clone i've played has felt off and that cartoon network game isn't looking great either

The Cartoon Network game is awesome only because of Captain Planet. And since this is Sony I feel that I can trust them more to make an above-average game.

Man...I dunno how many years it's been but I loved Blinx the Time Sweeper, Possibly my favorite original Xbox game along with Mad Dash Racing.

But I dunno, I feel awkward and yay about this, I have no idea what to go with.

Blinx was fucking awesome.

Either way, Kratos vs. some cartoony shit isn't really gonna feel right, in fact, it'll probably look just downright stupid. I don't think they can capture that sort of ridiculous charm Nintendo got with SSB.

if it has a lot of third party characters and the gameplay isn't horseshit and stage customization is close to lbp it'll probably be an enjoyable game that will sell millions

Its really bad and the creators don't even acknowledge that the game is a smash bros clone and rather compare it with street Fighter
