Problem with adding hidden characters

I've managed to put the characters that i want hidden offscreen at the bottom of the screen by using rows and columns trick but i can still select the chars by moving the cursor even with moveoveremptyboxes and showemptyboxes disabled. Is there a way to make them unselectable or is there a trick around this that i'm unaware of?

Sim, tem um jeito. Se você colocar ele numa posição especifica não vai ter como escolher (ainda da pra escolher pelo aleatório)
Tipo assim:

Desculpe pelo desenho feito em 10 segundos kkkkjj
Desse jeito não tem como ir pra direita ou pra baixo.


Yes, there is a way. If you put the char in a specific position, there is no way you can select it (you can still select via randomselect)
Like this:

This way you can't go right or down.
